Audi seems to be headed in the wrong direction. The interior of the next generation Q7 is nice but the exterior has gone array. The Cayenne delivers a second to none driving experience and the styling screams "pure sports car on stilts".

Tbh Audi's traction control system is like Merc's and you can't fully disengage so it keeps grabbing the brakes when you don't want it to when driving fast.

Weight, wheel base, and differentials also impact the towing test. I have the same generation Cayenne and there’s buttons to lock the rear and for snowy and muddy conditions. Doesn’t look like Tiff used that feature

Facepalm.... Why would you NOT turn off the traction control when doing a race? But yes, the Audi is not near as sophisticated when it comes to handeling as the Porsche. but I'd guess that is because Audi pretty much bashed a crazy idea together, not reworked the entire car from the ground-up and build a sports SUV (in the sence of the Cayenne). BTW: Doing comparison races also requires same driver to drive both cars

Not in the slightest. The q7 is an extended version of the same chassis that both the cayenne and vw touareg use. They are all based on the same car, albeit with the q7 extended to have room for 7 seats.

I would give the winner to Audi because it's just more stabilized, it's safer to drive, but Porsche was better in cornering and it has to do something with traction control, when you turn off the traction control, all my tires spin at the same time which in the video was ON, I could see it on the corner, I have Audi, I know what I'm saying!

But in this case , i reckon law range would not help too much against 1000nm diesel and audi v12 weight will eventually pull more than porsche. I would like to see VW Touareg V10 diesel with low range and center diff against these 2

3 minutes 30 seconds if the traction control is taking too much power from the engine just cut it off in the center console beside the emergency flashers there's a button that has a picture of two tires with squiggly lines under it press that ESC off electronic stability control

At the end of the day, they’re owned by the same people, and in truth, share some components. The 1st gen hybrid panamera used an Audi v6. A v12 diesel is awesome, wish the VW group would put it in more vehicles.

Well, it's quite clear that the Porsche came in roughly 1-2 seconds slower than the Audi but they sat down at the starting block for a few seconds before they were off. Simple math dictates that the Porsche ran the course faster than the Audi and this is coming from an Audi supporter.
