Wow, Hallelujah! Praise the Lord Jesus Christ! Slowly, as a man struggling with lust, I have been encouraging myself to keep fighting because all though I stumble in sin I cannot find it in me to live with it. Previously I thought that every time I sinned in that way, the Lord God may have abandoned me, but why is it that I feel a power in me I have never felt before in my life, fighting these evil desires within me, if He has? This video has encouraged me all the more to fight my sin since Pastor John has made a case through the scriptures that having the power to fight your sin also means having no condemnation because you are in Christ Jesus. Praise God! I hope someone out there reads this comment and be encouraged knowing we are fighting together, you are not alone, not only are you not alone, you are in Christ. So fight! Cause our King has made us victors!

Amen! Jesus Christ already won the war. We simply have to rely on Him and His numerous provisions (ie: armor of God, prayer, worship, and Bible study) to win as many battles for God's glory as possible. To God be all the glory.

I feel like I needed this so bad I've been struggling with trying to achieve my salvation each day so much so when I get sick that I get scared in the middle of the night that o might go to hell. Its been a struggle for me for a while

It is a struggle indeed, but thankfully Romans 8 like Pst. John says, reminds us that Jesus completed it all. If we had to achieve our salvation there'd be no need for his death and resurrection. God's grace really is too good to be true. And I've realised that no matter how deep or dark the doubts and thoughts in my mind get, even when I worried whether I was saved, Jesus' love really is greater. I asked myself "are you stronger than God"? Of course not. My favourite verse now (Romans 8:39), reminds me that nothing can ever separate me from the love and salvation of Jesus. Not even if I continued to doubt until I see Jesus (which would be a sad and painful way to live). The most important thing is not to continue willfully sinning, cos that's a dangerous path to go on. When doubts flood your mind recognise them as lies, the truth of God's word will always always overcome the lie. Live as though Jesus' power and emotions are yours. I hope you stay encouraged!

We rely *completely* on Christ's finished work on the cross. Beloved, not on our continuing works that go up and down. The hope that we have is sure and steadfast. So when the evil one starts pointing out all kinds of things at you, you yawn. And say "That's not even the half of it! It is not about me, my hope's not in me. If my hope was in me, you can kill my hope right now. But it's not. It's on the mount of God's unchanging love. And if yu don't leave right now, I'm going to call Him, you don't want me to call Him." The evil one can't touch Him. Beloved, yes, we don't deserve any of this! It's all by grace and grace alone and you can bank your life on that which is true. And it's Romans 8:32. "He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?" And that includes all His promises. May the grace of God be with you in Christ Jesus!

We can be joyful about our redemption through Jesus Christ 🙏 I believe that it is in this joy that we can spread the message of hope and peace. Forgiveness is through repentance and coming to Jesus Christ- it is beautiful, light and uplifting. Not to condemn and bring the heavy burden of guilt from sin - Jesus is freedom from that - he takes that burden for us. There is too much scaremongering about sin and the mark of the beast, etc - we are not supposed to be anxious believers but true, hopeful believers - reading the word, praying and walking in the Spirit as much as is possible 🙏🕊📜

From what I remember, Paul says God's Grace will cover an unbelieving partner and your children. There's still dangers and tension in that kind of marriage, but with faith and prayer it should work for God's glory.

I have a question - please be kind to me as I am honestly trying to understand: How do I fight as a winner? I don't get it. I have listened to what the Pastor said but still I find it hard to comprehend. I am sinning and I hate that. I am saved because God loves me so much and I trust in Him. But I sin again and again. Yes, God will forgive me every time but I still have fear. But because now I think I am scared, does it mean my faith is weak? Does it mean at the end that I am no different from someone that rejects God? Why I am not able to see myself as a winner? I pray for a stronger faith, I pray for more wisdom...what am I doing wrong?
