I'm 64 my first attack came on about 5-6 years ago after. Thanksgiving dinner. then I got tested my Dr. said yes he thought I had it. then one time I had a three week attack. which was terrible. I tried to change my diet. then would cheat. then 2 years ago I had a bad flu which lasted for 2 weeks. stomach flu, I was completely dehydrated, no potassium. then when I could eat I had a pastrami sandwich.. which the next day I had a severe attack. so I said it's not bpv it's surely menares. so Iooked. up diet. stopped caffeine, salt around 1200 or lower. watched processed food. lost weight. I was doing pretty good until the dentist turned me upside down, ?? and I got a bad verdigo attack. it's scary because then you try to drink water only vegetables and fruit. no fried foods.. I also work in a shop in a hospital which has coffee, sodas , chips etc. all the things I can't have for 8 hours a day.......

I wish I did, but I don't. It came out of the blue when I was 24.

The same for me. Mine started 2014 at 25. I only had one vertigo attack, then 2 years of remission and from april 2016 vertigo came back :( don't know what caused MD I am the only one in my familiy who has this disease. Plus i have never had problems with my ears. I really don't know how this happened. :/

Emilija Stojanovic did any medication improve the symptoms? I'm four years in and like you it was occasional but it's been a bad month. had a drop attack last night luckily was home so no embarrassment.

It’s caused by a virus called Epstein Barr. It attacks your vagus nerves, brain and nerves in the ears. Look up the medical medium. He tells you exactly what causes and how to truly fully heal.
