In terms of how pixelated the display is -- go into options and make sure "performance mode" is OFF. For me, it defaulted to on. Turning it off makes things look MUCH nicer

Upgrading a non-main weapon three times give the item pickup on the stage/from bosses a chance to give you an upgrade to your existing weapons. But some require some special achievements to be unlocked. And please read the upgrades before taking them so we know whats going on :)

If you have at least one secondary weapon with an available upgrade, then at least one of those upgrades will always be in the list of weapons to choose from, on pickup (if you have more than one available, you might still only see one of them)

You could pause the video and read them yourself. Aside from needing block strength and base defense to be explained, everything else is exactly what it says.

I've been playing the hell out of this since I got it yesterday (thanks to your first video on it) and I love the idea of different upgrades and weapons being stronger or weaker with different classes. Though, it's sort of a double-edged sword in that I feel it kind of shoehorns you a little in always going for the same kind of build. Can't wait to see all the fun additions the dev makes and see what you manage to pull off when you challenge yourself! Note #1: One thing I found really helps is to enable the direction line in the settings so you always know which way you're aiming regardless of movement direction, attack speed, or screen clutter. Note #2: Don't snub your nose at movement speed. It can keep you away from all the enemies and is amazing for kiting enemies while not getting hit and giving you the ability to get out of being cornered or overrun.

You could also just increase your cursor size. This game lets you make a pretty decent sized cursor (without being obnoxious). And I disagree about this game "shoehorning" you into doing anything. I've been able to make all weapons work with both classes. I had a really good run with the warrior that had the orbs and arcane shuriken. But you think what you want to think and just know that there's more than one way to approach using a weapon.

This game has a crazy amount of unlocks. I've put in a bit of time now and still don't feel like I have that much. Made it to 30min in the bone zone though. Character(s) I've unlocked have some very different mechanics with their weapons which very much changes how they play.

Pay attention to the (strong) (weak) effects in the tooltip, certain characters get more out of certain upgrades

Considering the latest update for the godot engine used a screenshot of this game in it's announcement, i guess i just found out what this gem of a game was made with (afaik the same engine brotato uses btw.)

If you upgrade the circling balls you can get huge crits out of them. They have an upgrade that boosts crit dmg by 50%

Hey :) Erst mal danke für den Tip zu dem Spiel! :D Ich bin zufällig über etwas gestolpert, dass evtl. hilfreich sein könnte: man kann mit dem Gamepad Auto-Aim an lassen und gleichzeitig die Automatik überschreiben, wenn man mit dem rechten Stick manuell zielt, wenn man einen Boss oder Fernkämpfer anvisieren will. Das macht das Spielen deutlich entspannter, da die Automatik meist recht gut ist und man nur wenn´s wirklich nötig ist manuell zielen muss :)

0.15 more projectiles is 15% chance to fire additional projectile. If it gets above 100 it has 1 more permament and x% chance for another one

Took me 35 hours to 100% all achievements it's a really nice game and I enjoyed it alot, pay attention to the quest rewards and plan a few targets with each run for gold boosts and unlocks I ignored alot of stuff early on and did my self no favours :D

Also, the higher tiers of abilities (IV, V, VI, etc) aren't time-gated...they're *level* gated. iV becomes available at level 30, V at 40, etc, etc

If an enemy drops a gem of another gem, it turns into a 4x gem.

@@DexTag from what I've heard from other players. One of the ways to get to lvl 100 is to turn off the pickup range and stay still as much as possible, so that the xp can stack.

@@korpse6rinder every quest you complete gives you an exp bonus getting level 100 gets easier the more quests you complete, that and the 50% exp amulet

Main game loop after this point is getting gold and completing quests. Try to focus on the quests that unlock items and additional abilities, blessings and characters, and retrieve a new item each run with the help of the wellkeeper. Do not forget to also equip those new items - this makes different builds for the different characters much more viable. Also, about abilities: Each ability has (I think) two different evolutions you can get randomly when picking up a "new weapon treasure", which unlocks different additional effects (which you may have to unlock via quests first). Strongest point of critique I have on this game so far: No reroll possibility when picking evolutions / new weapons makes planning certain builds very tedious.

Writing this since I doubt you will read his text, so you will have no idea what you even did. The person you saved is now top left above the shrine you upgrade with, and he has a chest to equip gear and some free gear, along with his ability to use a bucket onstage and get those items to his shop. If you buy those items, you get the ability to equip them permanently too.
