I’m glad that you mentioned the travel expense. I can’t see giving anyone a travel itinerary for the time that I’d be visiting. For the most part, I never know what I’m going to be doing when I’m traveling. The last thing that I’m going to do is have someone pressure me into in one place after paying $2000 for a plane ticket.

@@FrankSouza-ss7czmeaning, we are options that are the top percentages. And when going for a foreigner they will go after the best of the best with all the options. If there is a 35 year old good looking guy with abs from America, and a 52 year old fat dude that doesn’t have hair, it will make it more difficult for the 52 year old cause they can set the bar higher by going for the younger attractive foreigner

There's definitely red flags on both sides of the fence...buyer beware. Personally I think it's utter stupidity for a foreigner to even consider having any kind of relationship with a Filipina, unless he's living in the Philippines. Just travel, enjoy the country & its islands & go home, looking forward to your next visit & hopefully, to become an expat.

Most of them are 16 or under that got pregnant and the boy will run and after that no man will take them or they don't want another man because of that. By the way if you confess Jesus as your Lord that died for your sins and believe in your heart God raised him from the dead you'll be saved That's called eternal life. any other questions you may have you can find the answer in Gods word the Bible. Because Marriage is Forever with NO Divorce so Most Filipino Men don't marry and if they don't want to be married anymore they just disappear as she will never be able to get remarried Unless he dies and she becomes a widow.. I Only date widows and single women no matter how good looking or well off she is as after 3 years together it is like common law marriage even when you aren't so get a prenuptial with Fidelity clause and minimum intimacy stipulation

I am not sure I understand. Filipinas are religious and don't want to talk about s3x.... but Philippines is one of the countries with the most single mothers. Please explain how both these things are possible.

Exactly ignorance is not always bliss when it comes to sexual relations. That and the Catholic churches views about not using birth control, strong desire to have large families and extensive family suppirt of kids allows for increased birth rates here.

The presrnce of single moms ? Many Filipino women aren't conservative any more lke the old days.Being religious doesn't mean conservative here. Many both practice conswevative and liberal ideas. Like they may agree that God is there but they are free to fo what they want and they also believe that God would forgive them if they do wrong. They may go to a Catholic mass but don't agree to some teaching of the Church. I'm a Filipino man in my early 30's. I believe in Jesus, l attend church services but l can talk about sex. How can we ever learn to be rezponsible about sex if we don't talk about it? Jesus talked about sin openly because he want prople to learn about it, he didn't kept his mouth shut.

@@KnH07 and @platoon1081 the problem is that Catholicism is a corrupted religion and therefore it only provides a "facade" of virtue. And people feels it and lives in this hypocritical way: preach one thing, do the opposite. Only once I joined another Christian denomination I learned what God wants for real. There's no "pray two Holy Mary => forever pardon". You got to CHANGE your ways and prove God you are in good faith about becoming a better person, else you don't get forgiven at all. God shall pardon you 1000 times over, if He sees each of those 1000 times you improve a bit. But if you stay in full blown sin and just confess to some random priest, then you are NOT pardoned.

My take on that is: - no sex-ed at all. Not from parents and not in school. Eat that. - the man is the boss at home so when he wants sex, the woman has to obey and be submissive (no if's, no but's). And they dont have sex 1x per year but much more often.

@@KnH07 Never get a Big city girl as small town or province girl but it is social media that destroys women as they get ideas from Western women and lose traditional values thinkng they are "Empowered" but it actually makes them worth Less as they are less feminine and more masculine as they compete against Men. I point this out to my girl as she doesn't realize sometimes how it seeps in as he friends can be good or bad influence.

Hi, Jo, I found your channel this evening and am enjoying your perspectives. I've been watching a lot of street interviews and whatnot and have formed some opinions and potential reservations. You touched on a BIG one in this video: "If the foreigner has been in PH before, that's a red flag." In principle, I have some understanding of many Filipinas' self-esteem and confidence problems, and where those can lead: mate-guarding ("clinginess"), deep suspicion of both the partner and virtually EVERY other Filipina ("crab mentality"), her family's tremendous influence on her self esteem and expectations from her (foreign) partner, the potential effect of dating a foreigner or having a foreign partner on her reputation (positive and negative), etc. I have considerable empathy for this, but I have also experienced the ruin of my own marriage because my partner was painfully insecure and projected her own behaviors (past and future) upon me. There's no way to be right or happy under those conditions. That particular red flag is a huge double standard. This is the first time I've encountered it (though I see the 'sense' of it from what I know about prevalent mindsets among Filipinas), but wow. It's impossible to apply to Filipino men (who also have a body count), so why only apply it to us? Another red flag I have to strongly disagree with is not sharing itinerary. Again, I can understand it on the basis of what I've learned, but I have heard horror stories about a foreigner being met at the airport by a woman he chatted with... AND several members of her family, being whisked away to meet the REST of the family (who expect lechon and dinners out)... essentially, being high-pressure sold into the family or press-ganged into it, and having the whole thing back-fire. Foreigner runs away from all of that, Filipina is blamed by her family for not doing enough to catch/trap the person, the excitement over having reeled in and landed a foreigner evaporates instantly. We don't want that. Obviously, I'm not asking you or anyone else to litigate the behavior and mindset of anyone, you're merely explaining how things work. Relationships take time and patience. Trust takes time and patience. But if I was viewed with suspicion because I'd been in the PH before or had already been there for a few weeks or months, I'd look for someone else to talk to. If a foreigner has an ex-Filipina and that’s a problem, what about single Filipinas? No kids but not a virgin. Ex-boyfriend? Or sexually active? Those aren’t red flags to the male foreigner? Talking sex early in is a red flag to the foreigner too. But having an ex? Only a red flag to Filipinas? Even if the foreigner is always with a Filipina and always wants her to go with him wherever he goes, it’s still a red flag to the Filipina? You don’t think, know or believe it goes both ways?

I had a Filipina GF earlier that got scared and left me after I told her I have been divorced twice (because she asked me), but she never asked me why I divorced them. I have legimate reasons for it. However, I have now a new Filipina GF (for 9 months now) and she has never asked me this question and I hope she never will because I am a honest guy. My first wife was beating me for years, and my second wife never came to my country. We men has good reasons if we divorce someone. I hope Filipinas will understand this one day.

People in ph are too friendly and is total opposite in finland. you will get overwhelmed for sure, but good luck to you. Summer whole year round. Rice is life theres no potato and lettuce.. dont look for filipina in bars.

People that go off of a travel itinerary aren’t real travelers I call them influencers and digital no mads running around with a chicken with no head.The other thing is yes I’m born and raised in America and people from western countries do complain a lot.The third thing is trying to make the Philippines like your home country which leads to complaining again.The fourth thing is not interacting with the locals and not trying the local food.The fifth thing is not adventuring out crying touristy hot spot metro areas.

My Filipina GF is also jellous and always asks me questions about everythlng like what I am doing or get mad if I don't answer her Video Calls within 3 seconds, or when I am waking up too early. Love is suppose to be about trusting your partner and if a Filipina can't trust her man and constantly want you to answer her text or video calls and keep asking their man weird questions. The man also has a job and in most jobs you are not even allowed to use your phone while working, but if you don't answer directly then she will get mad because she constantly think their man is cheating on her. You know, we men also think a woman is cheating when she becomes quiet for hours or ignores you for days. What's up with that? But we men respect her and never ask her why because woman has so many different reasons to ignore her man... but we men have to constantly update her on what we are doing and where we are...

Its funny what she says about talking about sex. A country (PH) with a lot of single moms and an overwhelmingly increasing population. My Filipina girlfriend and I did talk about sex before I visited her. So, it wasnt a problem at all.

Good video, Jo. You say it is a red flag for most Filipinas if the man has visited there before. Does it matter the context of the visit? What if it was just a business trip to Manila or Cebu? I assume you are talking about someone who spent some significant time there. As for the talking sex too early, I think that is a red flag everywhere. And for guys, if she is wanting to discuss sex too soon that is a red flag for us as well. Nothing wrong with talking about it, of course, but as with most things in life, timing is everything . . . Enjoy the Finnish summer! Take care.

@@GerinPhils I was in Manila (Makati and BGC) for a week or so in March, and I didn't notice getting that much more attention from women than I do at home. Admittedly, I get some attention here as well, but it may be that in the city they are just much more used to foreigners as they call us.

I dont know what else to tell you ...your a grown man..a smart business man at that.. who has been to the Philippines. In my case and the case of ALL the men i know here... its 1000 x times easier here than in the USA ...i cant go anywhere without women giving me attention. If you are not flooded with attention then the problem is your not paying attention to the cues OR not getting out in the general public...or both. Good luck.
