Man I really wished they had kept the ted talk scene in the final film, the entire power dynamic in Peter's intentions and the way the scene was filmed really showed a division between Peter, who is seen in this TED talk as an idol, vs the mindless humans surrounding him, almost as if he were some sort of higher up power.

I really liked Prometheus for being so mysterious and not spelling everything out. If I recut it I'd leave out the deacon birth. We know what happens, we don't need to see it. Perfect. I'd also not show the mutated guy returning. The assumption would just be that they're dead. Those were the two scenes that really killed it for me, especially ending with the deacon. It spoiled the "lets go where they came from" ending.

This was an awesome listen! I enjoyed the movie as well but I always felt like it was missing something. Also really wish we got that direct follow-up.

I can do Covenant: It was never made and a better and direct follow up to Prometheus was made instead. The end.
