Carlo, I picked up this bag after watching your review. I filled it with dried garbanzo beans that I caught a deal on. Weighed in at 58.5 pounds filled to the top. It’s become one of my favorite bags. Enough weight to make you feel it & light enough so that it really keeps you moving. Thanks for a great review that was the deciding factor in ordering from Rival. After watching your latest review I checked out a local farm equipment /feed store & they were selling 50 pound bags of dried wildlife corn for $11. That would have been the way to go. I have an old boxing book from the early 1960’s written by Floyd Patterson & in it he recommended a 70 pound heavy bag as his favorite because it was light enough to give him a high degree of movement.

Hey man I just moved into an apartment that is upstairs, I don’t have any access to hang up my aqua bag anywhere outside..what is something you recommend I can have inside my room that won’t be to noisy when I punch on it, but that’ll still give me a good work out. Thank you

Title shot sports reflex stick is the best thing for apartments that I know of. And grodex black mamba but I think reflex stick is better.

Hello Carlo. How long can the corn stay in the bag before going bad and becoming mouldy ?

I wonder how much more the 10x15 bag would swing if you hit it hard? I like the shape and compactness of the bag..it really does look like it be better for working on the overhand punches and uppercuts like a wrecking ball and possibly some precision benefits as well but I wouldn't want it to swing too much. Do you think there would be a huge difference in the 10x15 ??
@csquaredboxing6 ай бұрын
I don’t think it would be a huge difference in swinging, mostly because of “how” the bag absorbs the impact/ inertia. The corn inside basically disperses most of the force by moving/ forming to your punch. Whereas a traditional heavy bag/ punching bag that’s filled with rags or foam has more of a “bounce” when you punch it rather than it forming to your punch. If you ever hit any type of aqua bag, you’ll notice it doesn’t swing very much because the water essentially forms around your punch.

Nice looking bag and great video. Was wondering what would be the best filler other than sand if you wanted the bag to stay firmer for knuckle conditioning and just mimicking a more realistic feel of punching someone in the face?? The plastic beads sound interesting but would there be better alternatives? Thanks
@csquaredboxing7 ай бұрын
Other than sand, I’d do dried corn

Another thing I thought about is this bag doesn't look like it would settle at the bottom like a regular cylinder bag does where the top portion of the bag gets softer over time and gets firmer at the bottom .. seems like because of its short lengh its going to stay firm at face or head range of an opponent.

Try the smallest polyform LD-series water buoy. The long tube shape, not the teardrop one. Amazing water maize bag.

@@csquaredboxing I tried out the local Gold's Gym, got excited because they had 5 heavy bags . . . and they ended up being filled with water or something like that. 🤣 It was like punching a water bed. Might as well be shadow boxing. BTW, the Title maize bags looked good too, and come pre-filled, but the shipping was crazy expensive. They quoted me $200+ for shipping to So. California. Nuts.

My only worry is that I live in the south and I feel like leaving dried corn in a hot and humid garage will attract pests and rodents… the bugs out here are no joke. Unless maybe the bag and liner is secure enough? If it’s protective enough maybe I’ll get it.
@csquaredboxing Жыл бұрын
I think you’ll be fine because it goes inside that nylon bag and then into the bag itself which is zippered closed. You could also put the corn in another plastic bag then tape it shut before putting it in the nylon bag to give it more protection.

@@csquaredboxing Salamat! I think I’ll try that and if that fails I’ll look into an alternative filling. I know Rival Customer Service says to contact them if looking to fill with something else. Of course, this is pending the CSquared official stamp of approval if there’s a review video coming out. Thanks!
