The first time i ever heard of running with the wolves song is from Wolfblood and surprisingly not Wolfwalkers, Wolfblood was the first werewolf type of movie/show i ever watched and the reason i fell in love with wolf stuff

This song was released in 2015, but she recorded the different version in 2020 for Wolfwalkers. She wrote the song in 2014 during a blood moon, here is a quote: "I just imagined the moon turning all the people around the world into wild animals, running away from all the rules, all the materialism, and technology. Just being part of nature again, running free".

Great reaction! You're the first person I've seen that knew the movie first. I only watched the movie because of the song, but I agree with you that it's very good (I've watched it more than once). I love how the song was used in arguably the most pivotal scene in the movie. Knowing Aurora's personality and tastes, I imagine she loves this movie and really enjoyed being a part of it (though I've never seen her talk about it).

It’s SO WONDERFUL, and if you haven’t seen it yet I also HIGHLY reccomend one of Moore’s other films, Song of the Sea. Also beautiful music and breathtaking visuals

"... they just, kinda... paint German shepherds..." I threw my head back and gasp-snorted, and my 55lb Aussie x Maremma, splayed out on her back across the ENTIRE length of the couch, woke up and turned her still-upside-down, lips-drooping-off-her-teeth head towards me to see wtf was wrong. And then turned her head away from me and went back to sleep once she'd ascertained that I am, actually, still just a ridiculous human paying attention to a small black handheld box. Very threatening goofball. Edit: OMG YOU ALREADY KNEW (and presumably enjoyed) AN AURORA SONG, that's so cool that you've discovered it properly now via your KZbin life!!!!!! ... oh, Wolf Walkers looks absolutely delightful!!!

Nice reaction, I love this little mini movie MV, and her movements are like a trapped wolf trying to escape. Also, the second wolf she sings in the chorus sounds like a wolf howling, so fricking clever.

With Aurora it's always your interpretation that is ok. She usualy don't go to much on detail of the meaning of her song, she want ppl have their own. As you ask... she got the idear on a blood-full-moon night, thinking that would be fun if every one would cut off all their techno app ( the wire) get naked and run like wolf in the forest on that full moon.

Love Wolf Walkers - beautiful artwork and story. Feel sure I found it because of Aurora. I would think you would do well by any "fandom" as long as the artist engages your interest. There's probably a good bit of crossover with Ren and Aurora.
