Tatiana is an introvert and in fact this song was originally to be entitled "Introvert". She wasn't thrilled with the title. Tatiana is full of dualities in that as introverted as she is, she is the frontwoman of a metal band that does a lot of touring. She is the face of the band and is known for her stage presence. She manages to get up there and do this and then when she steps off stage turns it all off and goes back to being shy, quiet and reclusive. She and the band are from Ukraine. Her husband explained to her that there is another English word for introvert, "Wallflower" which she liked. The album itself ended up being called "Wallflowers" probably because throughout the history of the band they all basically left people they cared about behind to pursue their music career and were left with only each other and their music and really hadn't made a lot of friends outside of that. On top of that, their song writing method for the last several albums has consisted of the band doing the music first and then she does the lyrics, usually at the last minute. Which is why the video depicts the band showing up and bugging her. The red box in the video is her art supplies (the instrument of her satisfaction in solitude) but it actually symbolizes her lyrics and the band insisting that she hurry up and get them done when she really just wants to be alone. She likely has to get into a mindset to go on tour and get in front of large crowds so the prospect of leaving her home and getting her part of the music done while being rushed gives her some anxiety. When she produces lyrics though she really produces lyrics. Any of their other songs would also show this. All of them are really good. A lot of people suggest a good next video of theirs as Perennial Live at Wacken Open Air 2019. The song is about seasonal depression. Very good song and performance. Their latest song is called Green Serpent.

Ooooo boy do I relate to this woman. Thank you for all the extra info

The Red box represnts her lyrics. She procrastinates writng them, so the band chases her down for them. She gets frustrated (her threatening to destroy her box of lyrics) Thats why in the end the bullets dont work, but throwing her sand art at them makes them disappear.

@SteveSmith-os5bs she's said as much in interviews before, and in the context of the video it makes sense....beautiful imagery.

Also, Tatiana isn't an original member of this band and kind of ended up in the role because literally no one else was able to take the job. "I never asked to be here... I hated that from the beginning" .... She is conflicted about even wanting to do this as a living but cares so deeply about what she does and the band itself that she feels she has to continue anyway. She doesn't necessarily enjoy the business side of music or the pressure of being a very noticeable person. Karen Carpenter felt similarly. Never wanted to be the key piece in front stage.

Perennial live at Wacken shows her talent well. My favorite performance is Pit of Consciousness live in Kiev.

Don't want to hold up any Jinjer reaction but since Christmas is nearly here, here is another fabulous singer and master metal musician doing a Christmas special: Tommy Johansson - JULEN ÄR HÄR - Christmas Metal version

I hope you do more Jinjer down the line. I'd suggest doing more music videos if you're down, with you being a film nerd, they're well done and deserve evaluation and analysis

@@Filmfinds1443I think the Perennial live 2019 at Wacken performance is a must, she wrote that song because she goes through seasonal depression, and it's just an awesome live performance, a lot of their music has real meaning to her and the band as a whole. Home Back is another good one about how they were displaced when Russia took over the part of Ukraine where they lived in 2014 and how they want their home back, and just how surreal it is with your home turning into a warzone around you.

Since you asked, how about Perennial, the Live at Wacken 2019 or Judgement and Punishment one take vocal performance? Enjoyable rant, btw.

As an introverted procrastinator her band has to make a nuisance of themselves to get her to do her part as the main lyricist. Thus represented in the video where she can't get rid of them untill she "throws her art" at them.

Lol Jinjer is ukrainian proggy djent groove metal with complex time-signature maze, polyrhythms and multi-genre blending. They are one of the most talented 4-pieces and Tati is one of the best overall metal vocalists and lyricists in the business. Jinjer - Pisces (Live Session) Jinjer - Perennial (Live At Wacken 2019) Jinjer - Pit of Consciousness (Live in Kiev) Jinjer - On The Top (Live in Kiev) Jinjer - Who Is Gonna Be The One (Official Live) Jinjer - Judgement & Punishment (Tatiana One Take Vocal) Jinjer - Teacher Teacher (Official Video) Jinjer - Captain Clock (Live at Resurrection Fest 2018) Jinjer - Cloud Factory (Official Video) Jinjer - I Speak Astronomy (Official Video) Jinjer - Vortex (Official Video)

Lol jinjer is a niche band😂😂 ......so there is relatively nothing really that "weird" to talk about😂😂
@leftyjaggajaggaАй бұрын
@igormarkov2004 I know most people would say "Picese is the right song for an introduction," but I thought this song might resonate, so I recommended Wallflower. I stand by that choice.
@igormarkov2004Ай бұрын
@@leftyjaggajagga Everyone is sick of Pisces, including the band members themselves. I would recommend something brutal and aggressive. Wallflower is one of the softest and most lyrical songs. Most likely, it was the first and last song she listened to and she will never know what Jinjer really is.
