Kinda makes me sad Minshew is considered just a backup by the league, when he's obviously better than a lot of starters on other teams every year. Not saying he's a superstar, but he's a good QB.

Before the broncos got Russell Wilson, I said to get Gardner minshew, draft Kenny Pickett. Idk, maybe it's the mullet, the swords or the living in a bus that made me jump on the minshew train. He's a solid player, that could be a starter in the right offense. Imo.

I recently watched a 1970s game on Volsky's enhanced NFL YT site.(good video) Very few flags...only 1 holding call in the entire game...now every other play has a holding flag. Today every Sunday is Nation Flag Day...and most of the flags are ticky-tac flags that should never have been called. The REFS are destroying the game.

I call it riding the Minshew roller coaster. Takes you for a genuine ride and you get all the thrills and scream and yell now and then. All in all he has done a great job in stepping up. Against the Titans some nice passes to Alec Pierce who has figured out how to get a step or two on defenders and be open. That being said can't wait to see Anthony Richardson get back next year.

I would not judge Alec Pierce so harshly. His talent is muddled by the limited abilities of a QB like Gardner Minshew. I truly believe Pierce will have his breakout year next year once Richardson is back. Right now he’s just not able to get the throws he deserves which is understandable from a protection standpoint. I’d rather play safe than sorry especially with Minshew driving the boat.

Minshew is not forcing Pierce to drop wide open passes. Pierce is garbage.

Minshew is 6W to 3L this year....a playoff record. Richardson was 0W to 2L with this same team, and put the Colts into a hole. Minshew. with the Colts, is a playoff QB. Minshew 6th round draft.....Brady 6th, Purdy 7th, Warner and Tony Romo were undrafted....Johnny Unitas was cut in preseason by Pitt...then joined the Colts and changed the way the game was played. (During the offseason Krueger could do a video of all the lowrent draft QBs that became stars in the NFL)

AR had the lead in two of the games he got knocked out of. The first game Deon Jackson single handedly lost that one and against the Rams AR never got a shot in overtime.

2 of those wins are don't count as Richardson started two of those and had the lead. So starting minshew is 4-3

No, AR didn't put his team in a hole in any game. If anything, he always gave Minshew a lead before he left due to injury. In the week 1 and Rams game, AR was the only reason we even had a chance. Plus, Minshew has 11 total TDs/7ints. Meanwhile, AR has 7 total TDs/1 int. If anything, Minshew has put the team in a hole multiple times.
