7:08 Tonyan mentioned post-game Rodgers called that play in the huddle. Rodgers knew he would be open and likely exploited something he saw from the defense. Rodgers is basically an offensive coordinator on the field.
@whoisjohngalt113 жыл бұрын
LOL, that's every experienced quarterback in the league. Have you ever been in a huddle? Have you ever played football? From high school varsity on up, every coach talks to the quarterback on what they see and what they think might work. This isn't unique to Rodgers.
@Horible43 жыл бұрын
@@whoisjohngalt11 No, that's not every experienced quarterback in the league. I'd say only two other quarterbacks in the league have the same control at the line of scrimmage as Rodgers. The difference is that Rodgers does it at such a high level it's basically unstoppable. If it was easy, Philip Rivers and Drew Brees would still be in the league playing for the title. There's no comparison between Rodgers and any other quarterback right now.
@pystalcrepsi4 жыл бұрын
I'm not very old (just turned 18 in the spring) but I've been watching football with my family since I was 4, and I can say that I have not seen a quarterback as good as Aaron Rodgers, though there were probably better QBs playing before I was born but I obviously didn't see them. I think I'd honestly take Rodgers over Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Ben Roethlisberger, Russell Wilson, and Patrick Mahomes. Almost everything he does is amazing to watch, and when he's playing his best, he's absolutely unstoppable. I seriously hope he gets another Super Bowl win or two. He really deserves more than one ring.
@whoisjohngalt114 жыл бұрын
If you want a bitchy diva for a qb, then Rodgers is a great choice. He's definitely one of the most skilled quarterbacks ever to play the game, but you have to be more than that as a quarterback. You have to be a great leader, someone who guys love to play with and want to follow. Brady, Manning, Brees, Wilson, and even Mahomes are those guys. Rodgers is the guy who throws other guys under the bus and sulks in the corner when he doesn't get his way. He should have at least 3 rings by now.
@nic53734 жыл бұрын
@@whoisjohngalt11 that literally sounds like Brady lmaooo. In the past month, I have seen him throw at least two AWFUL interceptions and then get mad at his receivers. He is so whiny. Please say examples of when rodgers has ever thrown someone under the bus because I have never seen it happen. :)
@whoisjohngalt114 жыл бұрын
@@nic5373 You aren't paying attention then. The only guy getting thrown under the bus in Tampa is Brady by his coach. There's one story about Brady calling out his teammates from 2009, and in that his focus was on "we". Unlike Rodgers, who has been blessed with talent Brady could only dream of at receiver. As far as whining goes, nobody in the league complains to the ref every time he gets knocked down like Rodgers does. When he scores, his teammates don't surround him to celebrate. He's a bitchy, whiny diva that nobody else is even close to. And everything he does, Mahomes does better. So, in case you are interested in changing your mind, a few articles about ARog: www.12up.com/posts/6337604-ex-packers-comments-about-aaron-rodgers-make-it-clear-why-everyone-wants-to-play-with-tom-brady profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/08/07/aaron-rodgers-sees-piss-poor-effort-from-young-receivers/ larrybrownsports.com/football/aaron-rodgers-made-wrs-choose-between-him-mike-mccarthy/490270 Consider the difference between a QB publicly calling out a specific position group and even a section of that position group(young receivers) publicly vs Brady where he is inclusive of himself. Aaron Rodgers should have at least 3-4 rings by now. He's had the talent around him. They just don't follow him, because he thinks Green Bay is the Aaron Rodgers show. Selfish prick who will never have the success his talent should have given him.

Yeah, thats bad leadership...) and Jennings (and they seemingly made up, Rodgers made a joke about his contract and Jennings took it the wrong way) Watch his interviews like on Pat McAfee or something. The dude is super chill with a great sense of humor (especially dry humor) The reason he doesn't have multiple super bowls is because hes literally only had a top defense once, and that was when they won the Superbowl. His D let him down in the playoffs so many times its not even funny. If you can find any legit examples that aren't nitpicked things that other qbs do then please let me know. No way I would want to talk to my family either if they were like that. Please give some examples. I cant imagine you've watched many Packers games based off this comment. TD/INT ration is not a reliable determinant of how well a qb is playing so your first statement is irrelevant. Rodgers played horrible last year yet had an elite TD/INT ration. If you think he was good last year I have some serious doubt in how much you know about analyzing football. Please just take a look at his QBR and Packers offensive rankings. Rodgers throwing fundamentals have gotten really bad, so that may begin to cause more and more problems once he loses arm strength. on the very first play you sow coverages..... you say perfectly accurate throw?! The pas was behind Tonyan and prevented him from picking up additional yards... like this is what im talking about, maybe you never played football or just dont know the difference between a well placed ball that allows the receiver to pick up YAC. This year, LaFleur has done a hell of a job and Rodgers is actually playing into the system that gets guys open. However, Packers have played some of the worst defenses in the league so lets wait and see if this is forreal.
