I'd say Matt got like 10% right in this theory. Yes, Yelena is joining the Thunderbolts/Dark Avengers, but they're led by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, not Ross (although the two may be working together). However, AIM didn't show up, supersoldier serum didn't show up, face-swapping didn't show up (other than the same masks as in previous films), there's no indication that Red Hulk is part of the team (the other member we know about is U.S.Agent, and trailers for Shang Chi imply that Abomination may take the "similar to Hulk" slot instead of Red Hulk), and we're explicitly given mundane explanations for Natasha's hair and vest (rather than those being hints she's really Yelena).

The only issue I see with the whole Natasha swap theory is that in Endgame when her and Hawkeye go to Vormir to get the Soul Stone Red Skull calls her Natasha Romanaff and says her fathers name and it’s clear that the Red Skull has mystical powers of some sort when it comes to identifying people who seek the soul stone meaning that if it wasn’t really Natasha he would of knew

The only problem that I had with this switch theory was the emotional attachment that “Natasha” seemed to have with the others and the bond between her and Hawkeye being so strong Natasha would die for him. I think that this is actually explainable through the blip. I think that if Yelena imprisoned the real Natasha before the blip, and then the real Natasha disappeared, she would obviously need to stay in Natasha’s place, Yelena would be stuck as her. Maybe in those five years and before/during infinity war she was able to forge those relationships and it therefore, is why her relationships with the others feels so authentic. Kinda heart wrenching that she was stuck in that fate through disguise. Hope anyone reading this has a beautiful day and stays safe from corona ❤️❤️

Fake natasha is actually a spy from the CANCERVERSE plotline. I think the "dark avengers" plotline is a trick and the "revengers from the cancerverse" is actually what's going to happen. The actual Ant-Man is Hank Pym. He would actually be a lot younger but the MCU decided to go another route. To be fair: I'm mainly talking about "Avengers - earth's mightiest heroes", but cartoons are usually rather close to the comics. Hank, Tony and T'chala are all very smart and would most likely be able to create a cure. You might as well bring the Fantastic 4 in too, since they also appear in that show. World War Hulk however is the strongest form of the Hulk as both Hulk and Banner were on the same page and were both pissed. I've heard this theory before, and I cannot imagine them going back and saying that it was *not* Natasha who sacrificed herself in Endgame. It would be a huge disservice to her character arc and make that scene in Endgame come off as a forced emotional moment rather than something genuine.
