Afterward, Deadpool pretty much wipes out Ajax entire mutant making operation, so it seems unlikely. Also there were zero details to who the guy was, just a guy in bed in a warehouse. Alternatively, you could assign that bedbound guy to any canon character that came up through the "Deadpool" mutant making system, I don't know how many of those you meet in the comics.
