Honestly after watching this movie, I am afraid if I ever saw the train station I would burst into tears.

The thing about this movie that hit home is I adopted an Akita 10+ years ago. The Akita is really that loyal and watches over me. I've had dogs my whole life but not an Akita. Not knocking other dog breeds but an Akita bonds to you like nothing I ever known. Wouldn't leave her for anything, my best friend.

I lived in Woonsocket for 26 years. It is exciting to see the beautiful old depot showcased for this movie! There is much that is still beautiful and historic in the city...contradicting the "polishing a turd" comment below!

Richard Gere at the beginning...."What am I doing in this shithole." The movie did a good job of polishing a turd. Woonsocket is a pit.

It was a nice movie...surprised it was never released for theater in the US...better than most of the junk out there. Also kids need a movie about love and loyalty instead of these stupid cartoons that insult their intelligence.

I love the movie, very touching indeed. I love my dog too, it's a Shih Tzu, she lives in the house and sleep in my brother's room :].
