+Shadrac Mould not you mr Neuman, just the people who complain about that part of the movie.
@filmjoy8 жыл бұрын
+Shadrac Mould [m] Heh. All good. It's a weird movie to be sure. Part of what I didn't harp on was that this is a movie about giving up. Everyone slowly melts away and there is no resolution for anyone but Graysmith. That's why the interaction in the hardware store is so important. Everyone else has moved on but he stuck with it, and by virtue of sacrificing every aspect of his life to this conquest, he is the /only/ one that gets resolution. This is funny because this passed on to the audience as well.
@sawaugust8 жыл бұрын
Yeah this movie was simply about the investigation and how the police handled it. Also how Mr Graysmith became obsessed with finding the killer. The end of the movie just told us the last big update that happened in this case. Now days there are more theories and new stuff being added as time goes on. I loved this movie!

1 - Man that footage from Zodiac still looks crisp as heck 2 - The Game = highly underrated movie, it was my first exposure to Fincher, and after that I was hooked 3- I still remember that basement scene with the poster...and him just down there...and the implication that the home owner might have been the Zodiac....that tenseness, man. It was in the original cut as well as the director's cut 4- You know I am gonna vote for Big Trouble In Little China, but I'd be really interested to see or read your further thoughts on the movie Zodiac if you ever think to do something else on it. I love this film. It’s such an interesting mystery and such a great story that I don’t even care that we don’t get answer to the mystery. It’s one of those films that immerses you in a time period without being heavy handed with the overuse of stuff like 60s/70s pop culture references, songs from the era or any attempt to shoot it like a film of that era. I dunno, that just makes it look much better and more realistic.

Thankfully, the scene with Greysmith getting all freaked out and paranoid over Bob Vaughn IS indeed in the Theatrical Cut! That's my personal favorite scene in the whole movie, right there. It's SO masterfully written, blocked, shot, acted, edited... it just builds so much tension and it feels legitimately creepy! I love how Bob Vaughn slowly and gradually goes from being this regular everyday guy that Greysmith is getting some info from to just getting under the skin with his creep factor that's ALL just in Greysmith's head. 'Cuz in the end, despite Greysmith feeling all but certain he's about to DIE from this dude, Vaughn just... sees him out and politely bids him goodnight (all the while probably feeling more than a little creeped out HIMSELF by Greysmith's screwy, paranoid behavior and was likely just glad to've gotten him the hell outta his house :P)
