For me this is where they really elevated the show and started to incorporate different references. They really include small details in almost every episode. I will say if you haven't seen Million Dollar Baby, check it out. They really pay tribute to lots of things in the series.

One of my favorite recurring gags is when someone in The Gang is eating a banana in some completely ridiculous situation. First Charlie in Pop Pop's "uniform," and then Mac while two people beat the Christ out of each other in a basement.

Oh man, I totally forgot how this episode ended! I actually feel like this is the episode where Always Sunny gets really good. I mean, there's plenty to like in the previous episodes, but for me I think this is the turning point where it goes from being a funny no-holds-barred comedy about some terrible people to being a hilarious batshit crazy no-holds-barred comedy about some terrible people.

Yo enjoying these review reactions, most people just relate the scenes to other known shows without focusing on the characters and them being the one of the main reasons they can riff of them alone in a scene. Plus straight up people can say what they want but a lot of the things the gang say or do is something I’ve thought about now and then maybe smaller scale but cmon it would be funny to do some of this stuff. Best example off the top off my head just drinking chilling with friends n talkn shit.
