Hi. Do your enlarged 48 mpx photos also look like they were painted with watercolors? Does the process of taking a photo at 48 mpx also take longer than in the case of 8 mpx photos?

with the summer sale ongoing in our country, the DJI mini 3 is now about $315 standard package...im excited to see reviews of the fimi mini 3..and let me decide what to buy

That's a great deal for the DJI mini 3!

Photos and video are good, RTH on the mark, responds well in a wind, expected better range than I got. Entry level price of $299 with 2 batteries was enticing but the current price of $350 would compel me to opt for the DJI Mini 3.

DJI mini 3 is a far better option if you plan to fly colder than 10 celcius. Fimi mini 3 loses focus on colder temps.

You make a Video about an 4K drone, and upload as 1080p? I really can't understand that.

Posted on other channels, but in case you missed it: Amazon your Fimi now. You will have till January 31, 2025 to make up your mind about returning this due to the extended holiday returns period. For what you get it's a good buy, unless you get a lemon.

I do not recommend buying. I Bought 3 battery version. I received on June 2nd with one battery. Still waiting 6 weeks for other 2 batteries. It's not as good as DJI mini 3. Also no return/refund option with Fimi.

Yes, I agree. To me The Fimi mini 3 arrived on July 26 with one battery and only today I received 2 additional batteries because I ordered the version with threeAnd the drone itself is not a "complete alternative" DJ mini 3 but for its price, it's good and everything suits me.

from where did you order it?

So this is the same price as the X8 mini v2, the specs look identical. Can someone explain what is the difference because the description on fimis website is very vague when comparing the two, they do a bad job at explaining the upgrades opposed to the X8.
@LostSirens9 ай бұрын
The difference from the fimi x8 mini v2 is only in the lens opening and aperture lens

BEWARE: Stay away from Fimi mini 3. I got mine two weeks ago and it came with bad USB C cable. Fimi refuses to replace cable. So I have to use lightning cable with old iPhone with 3 inch screen. Also still waiting for additional battery and Gift battery. BTW: The video is crap. Color Profile is way off. Range is only 600m and flight time is 20 minutes. And CPU cannot handle the capabilities of the camera. eg. Drone is not flyable when using 48mp photos. DO NOT BUY

To me, the film footage doesn't look really sharp, maybe the lens wasn't set well, or the lens isn't of good quality.

You're correct, the lens is just a tad soft but all fixed focus lenses suffer this to a lesser or greater degree. A fixed focus lens is designed to be sharpest at one given range but this one looks generally soft. Fixed focus plus wide open aperture is pushing extremes with lens design so drones will always have some issues due to the small number of elements their lenses are limited to. Price comes into it here too Really good glass is so important that good lenses will usually cost more than the cameras they're fitted to. Pro cine lenses for feature film would be Panavision by choice and they cost more than your house and are way way heavier than drones can use. As far as hobby drone manufacturers go, I'd say DJI and Autel do a better job but still have minor shortcomings. A good reason to go for drones that offer raw footage is that they are catering to advanced usage cases so the lenses are usually better and more image correction is available in post processing.
