I love that this game gives the message that despite the fact that Mario and Bowser are archenemies, it's not the classic tale of good vs. evil. Despite generally acting like a terrible, greedy person, Bowser is not truly evil. If he was, he would be able to use the power of the Dark Star. But he couldn't.
