I can see them making a tough choice and letting David go while keeping Kev and Peter. Kevin is obviously loved at this point being a proven grinder, content-friendly, Philly, surprising at sales. Peter in my mind is 100% not being let go as his knowledge is not only the best of the competition but some of the best in the entire company. David in my mind is the only expendable one.

Kevin > Dave. As per usual Dave talks too much and gives too much of a boutique salesperson feeling whereas Kevin just genuinely seems as excited to work with people as the person buying their dream timepiece. He lacks knowledge but genuinely wants to do well where Dave talks too much and seems borderline nervous even with the first customer in this episode who is much younger. Nervous energy will make some people walk and annoy others. Nothing personal just coming from a successful salesperson.

Another great episode, but equally a tough choice ahead with the challengers, I wish you keep all the guys, as Peter has great knowledge when it comes too Roles knowing movements and being able to open them up and swap out parts, David has a good relationship with clients and speaking various languages and having connections, Kevin despite coming in late and not really knowing the industry has a real get up and go attitude, he is always on top of things really hustling and has real determination, you can't teach that and he really is coming through. All the guys are great and have done well

Kevin, has the most grit and determination. Provides the most consistent content, not just watch related but shares colleagues IG handles and some fun day in the life. Type of client: Dealer friendly, retail client. Peter, undoubtedly has the best knowledge of the 3, will fill an important gap in the content section for authentication/movement for LB segments. Type of client: Collector, detail-oriented client. David’s enthusiasm comes from a place of caring for the client, being excited for his client (hence long explanation). He would make a good hybrid like Sabina for watches and jewellery as he likes to articulate pieces that are in front of him. Type of client: Client who wants an experience, first piece.

At 15:30 Adrian calls a client who was interested in stopping the losses on his heavy pieces. Although the idea makes sense, the amount of losses is still huge, and there is no guarantee that the new pieces will go up in price to make up any of the losses. In essence, his watches are way down in price if he needs to sell in today's market, but should climb once market conditions improve in the future (not necessarily in 2023). If possible, I would enjoy and wear the watches since the losses are really only on paper, and selling them won't generate a tax loss since watches are not deductible. As an aside, if the client had been watching Roman's channel for the last 5 years, "watches are NOT investments". 😇

This is a great point Danny, the idea is to move out of watches that are declining in value and instead move into watches that are "safer" and what we consider good stores of value. Sure that watch may not allow the client to recover what he has lost, but it will be one that doesn't have the downside risk exposure of the AP. Hope this explanation makes sense 😁🙌

As I've said repeatedly, it's going to come down to two people...Peter and Kevin. I've also said David is best suited for a brick‐and-mortor branded store, he would do very well there. So, it really is between Kevin and Peter. Kevin has proved he's a go-getter even when his knowledge is lacking, but that will certainly improve over time. You still need to hustle to make sure you do your part in a team so as to not burden them in the behind the scenes, be patient and genuine (real patience and real authenticity), and ability to be flexible w client and not talk over them or lecture them.

Ive been into watches for years (Not in these price ranges LOL, like 3k max) but man I love this. Its like a truly produced show you would expect to see on Discovery or History channel. Extremely well produced and so interesting. When I say produced im not saying faked, I mean the camera getting in the deals, the cuts to explanations on the scenario they are going through and so much info on these watches I will probably never see in person but man its great. I watched all of season 1 during Christmas off from work and now im binging season 2 for New Years. I no longer watch cable TV and watch mostly youtube and to have such entertaining watch content in long form is just awesome.
