Just a curious question DK, do you plan to try out the Struggle for Freedom mod at some point? Seeing Ashe10 play it I know you'll definitely have a lot more fun with the game with the new stuff the mod creator did for it.

I saw another user’s gameplay footage of Trial 100, and they used Vanish to get around the Judges. That’s how they killed them without taking a single hit. Probably because the Judges are humanoid enemies, and from what I read, Vanish works mainly on humanoid enemies. Not sure about Omega.

I know you know this, but Shell halves the chance that instant death will hit a character, so my first thoughts were indeed why were you not using Shell and Brave Suit. Though you did realize the Brave Suit very well near the end, so that’s something. I’ve mentioned it before, but the Holy spell absolutely sucks balls in pretty much every context, even when something is weak to it. You’re better off with just hitting it with Excalibur, Holy Lance, or even the Holy Rod will do more DPS than the spell. Combo weapons actually can’t do critical hits at all, that’s the way they chose to balance ranged weapons. So if guns could combo, then you’d lose the ability to crit. I think this would still be more damage, but if you think about it, how does a gun combo? lol For Omega, Vanish does indeed work against him, the only problem is you can’t attack with Vanish status on, so the ones who are invisible will only be support roles. As for Berserk, you can remove it with Dispel, so that could also be a viable gambit to set. You got Hell Wyrm mixed up with Yiazmat on the steals, it’s Yiazmat that has a Bone of Byblos as its rare steal. But since you hate Red Mages, it wouldn’t help you anyway haha. Bonebreaker is stolen from Omega in Trial Mode as maybe another thought, but I think it’s Yiazmat. Your observation about that one attack that never instantly kills, that’s Rake, which does 1.5x damage. It’s just the regular physical attack that has the 5% chance to instantly kill you. The reason it was spamming it for that one part of the fight is intentionally programmed that way in its AI script. You might benefit by reading the AI scripts on the wiki, because it also explains why he stops using Invert for a while and then starts spamming it near the end. And Judgment happens 9 times in total, every time he loses 10% of his HP, that’s also in the AI script.

Hmm. I think Critical Hits ARE the equivalent of combos for long-ranged weapons.

You're probably going to have to fight omega by making your damage dealer also be the reverse target while the other two are under vanish. I could see you winning the fight, but not with the HP critical strat. Also, shell really helps lower the chance of those debuffs, including the instant KO. I'd say it's essential along with brave suit against yiazmat
