As someone who grew up on wow from the age of 11 with Warcraft 3 (The RTS), I welcome you to the wonderful lore. If you want to know about the lore on a cosmic scale there are the Chronicle books. Oh and reason Wrath of the Lich King is so HYPE is because in warcrtaft 3 we played as Arthas and saw him go from a good guy to the King of the Dead, so Wrath of the Lich King is where we got to finally fight Arthas again, and the first time we saw him since the RTS days. He is very important in shaping the world of classic wow. (4 years in lore after the RTS story ended)

I highly recommend the World of Warcraft Chroncile books 1-3 (4 comes out in July). The artwork is insanely good and it tells in detail lore in chronological order.

Since this video predates the dragon flight ecpansion: the Blue dragon flight has reunited as Kalagos as its leader and the aspect of magic, i was high through most of the quest but im pretty sure Norzdormu let us go back in time to make Kalagos the new aspect of magic and the passing of the torch happened.

Once you think you got the hang of WoW and how each expansion plays (if you're doing multiple playthroughs to see each expansion, that is) gotta recommend checking out some fan made machinimas for the game. Not even asking you to react to them, I just think you'd get a kick out of some of them when you know the ingame context.

Its only natural, when you read you imprint it in your brain. When you read you really have to put more thought into it. Thats why i dont recommend audio books, they are a lazy way of "reading". But i do understand listening to them when going to sleep or just chilling etc.

Nobbel87 does way better lore videos. This lore video has the narrarator misunderstanding things, leaving things out and making pivotal events sound silly because he didn’t put them in the proper context. Like with Deathwing. Deathwing wasn’t obligated to “sit in a cave bored as hell”. All the Dragons could freely travel and live wherever they wanted and he *chose* to live in a mountain (not a cave).

@@KingdomAce sorry dude -- i just binge watched your warcraft videos and the livechat and comments were driving me insane; i can't imagine how it felt for you. i really like your intake on the lore and game. a lot of people recommend videos that are either too fast-paced, too wordy, or memey (which alters the lore quite a bit) which are not the best videos to react to. there's also a part of the fanbase that idolizes straight-up villains and pretends they do nothing wrong which is... strange for a new player to witness.
