Man, it took me WAY too long to learn the joys of elemental materia. It would have helped so much on this fight bit i jist used the trees to avoid the worst of the midgardsormr's attacks

I have played the original, remake, reunion, and now this. Every damn time I play a game from this universe i always forget that elemental on ARMOR triggers its defense capabilities. I usually quip it with weapons and wonder why it doesn't work in my game. lol

Can someone help me understand weapon ability? I can only use Prime Mode if I have umbrella Blade equipped. Why doesn't it come up when I have the Rune Blade?

You need to keep using the ability and when maxed, you can use it on any weapon, check the menus

Just load up a chapter and warp to a intel boss, the Genji Gloves doesnt require any Hard Mode story content

I thought this was going to be a helpful guide to defeating the boss for the first time on hardmode.Only to find out you had to have beaten him before on hardmode to get the genji glove from another boss fight drop for a sinister quetzalgiat talon and a slimy malboro tendril, as they only drop from an enemy in hard mode only . Found that out after trying to get it unlocked through the item transmuter, was grinding for hours for craft lv 16. AH WELL 😅.

@Optinooby On some website, for how to get these two parts im missing to crafting the genji glove. Apparently, they only drop from certain enemy in hardmode. Maybe it was lying to me lol. Though if it is true, i could just skip to the zone level of the beast in hardmode to claim it i guess.

@@TheLusionest Its true, they are found in hard mode, but it doesn't say anything there about progressing the story in hard mode. You load a chapter on hard mode and then warp to what you need

They ruined a otherwise amazing game with these dumb boss fights. Literally every boss has instakill abilities. You literally have to change materia for every fight. It's actually become a very tedious game.

Just wait till ruby weapon. If square is gonna do it the same way, the easiest way to beat ruby weapon is to have 1 incapacitated ally.
