The pixelated Squall being "the best looking guy here" happens whenever you play the original on a PS1 or PS2 with no enhancements, and hook it up to a modern TV. One the most unintentional hilarious moments in the game.

The rhythm stick you refer to at 4:28 is called a Guiro, pronounced GWEE-roh. It's used in a lot of Mexican and Latin music. I have the FF8 OST, the entire album slaps.

I remember going for this mission with nothing but a guide I found in a magazine, a dictionary and a dream; you see, I didn't speak English when I was introduced to these games. Fun fact about me, I learned English cuz I wanted to play FF games 😂❤

I wonder if she/you found out/realized that's its optimal to draw magic to 100 for junction, and then just never use magic. Having 10-15 magic stocked makes junctioning almost negligible. Its why your normal attacks are still doing less than 100 dmg. And as you continue to ise magic, your stats get weaker as the potency of your magic stocks get weaker. In this game, enemies and bosses become tougher the higher level you are. So you're expected to keep up/pull ahead by going all-in on min-maxing the junction system. Many junction professionals equip GF Draw Item Ignoring Magic command entirely.

Pro tip the game doesn't really explain. Play cards, mod cards to items with GF ability, mod items to magic with GF ability saves a bunch of time on drawing 100 magics

Thanks for the quick upload! John Eric Bentley absolutely killed it as Barret, especially in Rebirth. I think he can be a little off in Remake, but he seriously dialed it in for Rebirth.
