Previously, Cloud defeated Regina at Gongaga in Queen's Blood and reached Rank 9: Blood Marquis. He also defeated the Queen's Blood players in Costa del Sol. It sounds like his final QB opponent is the ghost of Lidrehl in the Gold Saucer. The party also cleared the "Gongaga Region Intel: Level 2" and "Cosmo Canyon Region Intel: Level 2" combat trials. Now, it is time to head to the Gold Saucer to ask Dio about the Keystone.

Detailed description: 0:00 - Game Load 0:12 - Costa del Sol The party resumes in Costa del Sol. The main scenario "The Keystone's Whereabouts" is in progress. The party checks the Community Noticeboard outside the Bar del Sol (0:54). The only job now available is "Gold Cup or Bust". The client is Billy at Chocobo Square in the Gold Saucer. Cloud will help Billy later. The party warps to the Gold Saucer. 1:13 - Gold Saucer - Entrance As the party arrives in the Gold Saucer, a cutscene takes place. After the others split up, Cait Sith bends Cloud's ear for a moment. "The Keystone's Whereabouts" complete. The main scenario "Find Dio" begins. Fast travel becomes unavailable. Cloud and Cait Sith must check with their friends to see if they have learned about Dio's whereabouts. Cloud takes the nearby Guide Moogle to Skywheel Square. 2:55 - Gold Saucer - Skywheel Square Cloud will find Barkers touting a certain competition in Battle Square. Interesting. Cloud talks to Tifa at Skywheel Square (3:34). An event takes place. This starts and completes the sub-scenario "Tifa's Information". Dio is elsewhere. Cloud takes the Guide Moogle to Ghost Square. 5:09 - Gold Saucer - Ghost Square The specter of Lidrehl awaits in the Haunted Hotel's lobby. Cloud will challenge him later. Also in the hotel's lobby, Cloud talks to Vincent (6:01). This starts and completes the sub-scenario "Vincent's Information". Dio is elsewhere. Cloud also finds Chadley in the bar. He takes the Guide Moogle to Wonderment Square. 7:15 - Gold Saucer - Wonderment Square After saving, Cloud talks to Yuffie at the 3D Brawler machines (8:35). An event takes place. She challenges him to a game of 3D Brawler. Oh, why not? 8:54 - 3D Brawler - Yuffie Cloud plays a 3D Brawler game against Yuffie. In this match, he must evade her straight punches and uppercuts. Not especially difficult. When it is apparent that Cloud will not win in his first attempt, he retries and plays a second game (12:03). Not terribly hard, once you get the hang of it, I guess. I'm just not one for fighter games. Cloud defeats Yuffie in his second attempt. 14:52 - Gold Saucer - Wonderment Square An event takes place after Cloud defeats Yuffie. His relationship with her changes. This starts and completes the sub-scenario "Yuffie's Information". Dio is elsewhere. Cloud can play Yuffie again if he is so inclined. I'm not. Cloud takes the Guide Moogle to Event Square. 16:03 - Gold Saucer - Event Square At the start of the hall leading from the lobby to the auditorium, Cloud talks to Barret (16:44). An event takes place. Poor Jessie. This starts and completes the sub-scenario "Barret's Information". Dio is elsewhere. Cloud takes the Guide Moogle to Speed Square. 17:50 - Gold Saucer - Speed Square Near the door to the Galactic Saviors "hangar", Cloud talks to Cid (18:28). This starts and completes the sub-scenario "Cid's Information". Dio is elsewhere. Cloud takes the Guide Moogle to Chocobo Square. 19:07 - Gold Saucer - Chocobo Square Billy can be found here with his available quest. As I said earlier, Cloud will help him later. Cloud talks to Red XIII on the northeastern side of the central counter (19:49). An event takes place. This starts and completes the sub-scenario "Red XIII's Information". Dio is elsewhere. Cloud takes the Guide Moogle to Battle Square. 21:23 - Gold Saucer - Battle Square A scene takes place as Cloud approaches Aerith in the lobby (21:55). Well, Corneo blimey. The sub-scenario "Aerith's Inkling" begins. The Musclehead Colosseum is the next destination. Cloud follows Aerith west. An event takes place as they enter the Musclehead Colosseum (23:08). "Aerith's Inkling" complete. A cutscene takes place as Cloud approaches Dio (23:35). He will help the party if they fight on his behalf in the "Fight for Naming Rights". Don't worry, Dio; I'd help you crush Corneo's lowlifes even if the Keystone weren't involved. "Find Dio" complete. The main scenario "Prepare for Tomorrow" begins. Cloud must rest at the Haunted Hotel. Fast travel is available again. Cloud takes the Moogle Guide to Ghost Square. 27:35 - Gold Saucer - Ghost Square After saving, Cloud rings the bell at the Haunted Hotel's counter to call the Concierge (28:53). The tutorial "Date Night at the Gold Saucer" appears. Finally, it is time. Cloud's relationship with his allies determines how this part of the story will unfold. I believe Cloud's relationship with each of his datable allies has reached a high level. If he so chooses, Cloud can cancel out now and carry out any remaining odd jobs. Cloud chooses to rest until tomorrow (29:15). A cutscene takes place. I wonder what Aerith is up to. Bad boy, Cait Sith. Another scene takes place in the Tonberry Suite (30:38). If I remember correctly, something odd happened when he stayed here last time, as well. "Prepare for Tomorrow" complete. 31:18 - Interlude Episode 6 - Sector 5 Undercity A cutscene takes place as we open on Interlude Episode 6 at Aerith's House in the Sector 5 Undercity. We gain control of Zack on the ground floor of Aerith's House (31:41). The main scenario "Tending to the Sick" begins. Zack goes upstairs. As he enters Aerith and Cloud's room, an event with Marlene takes place (32:30). Marlene has seen something that does not bode well. Another scene with Zack and Elmyra takes place in the Flower Garden outside the house (35:12). "Tending to the Sick" complete. We regain control of Zack in the Flower Garden (37:19). The main scenario "A Cure for Cloud" begins. Zack can still talk with Elmyra in the Flower Garden and Marlene in the house. When he is ready to go, Zack follows the path towards the Center District (38:42). Zack examines the motorcycle not far from Aerith's House (39:02). Before he sets out, though, he finds a note that fills him with concern. Great. "A Cure for Cloud" complete. 40:02 - Gold Saucer - Ghost Square Another cutscene takes place as we rejoin Cloud in the Haunted Hotel's Tonberry Suite. Someone is at the door. Cloud regains control after the event (40:23). The main scenario "A Visitor, Come Again" begins. Fast travel is unavailable again. Cloud opens the door for the moment of truth (40:54). A cutscene with Aerith takes place. Call me sentimental, but I was hoping it would be either her or Tifa. She gives him the Premium Ticket key item. "A Visitor, Come Again" complete. The main scenario "Loveless" begins (41:37). The next destination is the Event Square. Cloud and Aerith take the elevator to the lobby of the Haunted Hotel (42:14). Then, they take the Guide Moogle to the Event Square. 42:55 - Gold Saucer - Event Square Aerith speaks briefly as Cloud approaches the hall to the auditorium (43:24). After saving, Cloud talks to the Usher at the door to the auditorium (44:13). He chooses to watch the play. 44:17 - Gold Saucer - Golden Theatre A cutscene takes place as Cloud and Aerith enter the Golden Theatre. It seems a certain "Maycomb Blume" has something extra to do. Then, an intriguing VR play begins (45:23). We return to the auditorium for a scene (48:30). It sounds like the next part of the story will require audience participation. The next part of the VR play begins (49:11). There is an intro from a familiar-looking Fool. In his cell, Cloud as Alphreid must choose his path (50:00). He faces the sword and shield and chooses "Test Your Might". This provides a tutorial of the button-pressing minigame. Afterwards, Cloud examines the cell door and chooses "Face Your Fate" (51:25). A cutscene with "Rosa" takes place. She looks quite familiar. In the next scene, we meet "Varvados" and "Garm". Both are also played by party members. When he can, Cloud chooses the Dragon King Varvados as his first opponent (54:00). Act I: "Clash with Varvados" begins. The button-pressing minigame ensues in this choreographed fight. A scene takes place after the battle with Varvados (55:19). The "Fool" gives Cloud another option. Cloud chooses to divine Garm's Weakness (56:09). Then, Act II: "Clash with Garm" begins (56:43). I wonder if Cloud's choice to divine Garm's weakness reduced the difficulty of this choreographed fight. Another scene takes place after the battle with Garm (58:03). Cloud is presented with another choice. "Alphreid" chooses "Rosa" as his beloved (59:48). However, the minigame mayhem is not over yet. Act III: "Grand Finale" begins (1:00:20). "Alphreid" and "Rosa" now do epic battle against "Varvados" and "Garm". Somehow, I managed to score an S in that performance. A final event with "Varvados" concludes this epic confrontation (1:01:46). Afterwards, another cutscene with "Alphreid" and "Rosa" takes place (1:02:40). Then, a scene that appears to take place on the stage takes place (1:03:42). The game's theme song is performed. It even works in Aerith's theme, which is lovely. Hopefully, I can keep the song in. Cloud's relationships with Barret, Tifa, Aerith, Red XIII, and Yuffie change. The player earns the trophy "Critically Acclaimed" for receiving a review of S or higher for their performance in Loveless at the Gold Saucer. This one seems pretty forgiving. The main scenario "Private Moment" begins (1:09:44). The next stop is the Skywheel. After saving, Cloud and Aerith take the Guide Moogle to the Skywheel Square. 1:11:08 - Gold Saucer - Skywheel Square In the northwest, Cloud and Aerith talk to the Skywheel Attendant (1:12:28). They choose to ride the Skywheel. They give up the Premium Ticket. A cutscene takes place as Cloud and Aerith board and ride the Skywheel. Impressive displays, but there is also an important heart-to-heart. Another cutscene takes place after the ride ends (1:17:25). Cloud's relationship with Aerith changes. "Private Moment" complete. 1:18:03 - Skies Above Corel The next morning, a cutscene takes place in a helicopter in the skies above Corel. Looks like trouble. 1:19:09 - Gold Saucer - Battle Square A cutscene with Cloud takes place as he arrives in the Battle Square. The tutorial "The Fight for Naming Rights" appears. The battle party will consist of Cloud, his date the previous night, and a party member of the player's choosing. The main scenario "The Fight for Naming Rights" begins. The party saves. Next time, they will enter the Musclehead Colosseum to take Corneo's cronies down. Thanks for watching!
