I remember after his fight, when he kept riding around the cage walls, I specifically recalled how Cloud can cleave through concrete and such, like in the final fight of Advent Children. I remember thinking 'just cut his fucking bike in half, why do you keep humoring this guy?' only for it to happen seconds later. I died laughing

I find it so damn wholesome that Rude has a safe space to just be bald and glorious, lol. Even his bestie Reno isn't allowed in. Rebirth felt like a return to form with Rude being silly. I hope part three gives us Reno also being silly because so far, he's mostly been such a jerk to Rude. None of the comedic duo we got in Advent Children.

​@@theoc511 Yeah, Rebirth is a mixed bag for me. In terms of story and characters, 10/10. Story progression speed and the abundant, difficult mini games, however...made it became a literal headache. And even if someone feels that you should ignore the mini games (after paying seventy frickin dollars?! I think not! And some mini games could be fun), this game literally impedes your progress of the story at multiple points unless you do the mini games. They're not entirely optional. And that in itself is fine, but the difficulty of many of them just made the game a chore.

I love everything from the cruise. From the little boy beginning to sob when he saw Red dressed in uniform and the mother employing the "He can't hurt you" meme, to Red pulling out the Micheal Jackson moves, to seeing Cloud do that awkward ass wobble with the yoga people (I never saw him do that in my game, I'm going to have to replay this chapter! I did see him do some of the exercises in Nibelheim and that was precious 😊). It's moments like this that help to ease the sour moments of my playthrough, because sadly, overall, I didn't love my time with this game. Everything with the story is a 10, it was the very difficult mini games (many of which are not optional, though I do like mini games) that brought my enjoyment down.

The clip with Elena complaining about the heat and wanting something cold to drink or ice cream got me thinking. Some advice from a girl from Texas, do not go for the ice cream to cool you off on a hot day as the ice cream will only curdle in your stomach and you will pay for it later. Just get in the shade or inside as soon as you start getting too hot, drink some cold water, and even better if you can also get a damp towel on your neck.
