He defeated Frieza but didn’t kill him. He lost to Android 19, he lost to Cell. He beat Kid Buu, albeit with help. He lost to Beerus twice. He lost to Hit. He kinda lost to Jiren once. Goku Black kicked his ass. He did beat Moro, and lost to Granola. He kinda lost to Gas and kinda didn’t. And Frieza kinda one tapped him. Oh and yeah Broly was about to win.

...I'm sorry, have you ever actually SEEN an episode of this franchise before? Everyone does so much standing around and waiting for their opponent's next move, sometimes for entire _episodes_ at a time, that it should really be qualified more as a game of Red Light Green Light than animation. What would be impressive and unique would be someone who could convince a DB fighter to actually DO something while their enemy's spending 30 minutes powering up.

They actually did something similar with Goku. Just before he achieved UI, he was testing Jiren by seeing what his attacks at various different states of being could do. Base couldn’t touch Jiren, and SSJ1 could but did no damage. At SSJ2, Goku landed a hit on Jiren’s neck and saw his head move. That made Goku realize that Jiren isn’t invincible.

I love how it still shows some respect to Vegeta, even though this attack didn't amount to much. Several God's of destruction really thought the Final Flash was gonna do it. Or at least fuck Jiren up a little.
