24 years later, I still think that this is the best romantic film ever made. It's perfect in every sense of the word. Can as the final ? the last few frames of them sitting on the park bench is the bench they discovered earlier in the film where they both had to jump over the gate to get access to the park.

@@SB-sg4em Yes, he married a bartender, they've been married 15 years now, and seem very happy. Aside from loving him, I can see why Anna might cherish the fact Will isn't famous - while he accepts her fame, he also offers her a stable and loving relationship, a refuge away from the spotlight. Besides, as Matt Damon's wife said “When you meet somebody that you have a connection with, that’s just the person that you have a connection with, all the other stuff- the movie-star part-wasn’t really a factor. Her smile is pure magic. Enchantment. There’s such overwhelming joy, in-love-ness, warmth, relief and simply radiance there. Every time I come back to rewatch this scene (a few times a year, don’t wanna spoil myself 😊) I rewind 4-5-6 times, can’t get enough of 1:23 - 2:40, completely bewitching 😍

The scene is crafted with so much detail.. impeccable performance from all on screen. The way he hides behind a reporter when question comes about the graphic photos, how Anna is curious and eager to hear the second question, the exchange before she says "indefinitely", the confused manager scratching his head, the reactions from the photographers and reporters and the bright heartwarming smiles with eyes locked on eachother with chaos around.. and then the song.. perfect.. Lost count how many times I've watched this..
