It took weeks but we finally got this outdoor kitchen completed. We built it out of a wood frame and covered that with cement board. Then I tiled the front and back of the outdoor kitchen with stacked stone and FLOOR tile! Lastly, our biggest part of this project, was pouring concrete countertops. We are not new to concrete work and we dislike it just as much every single time. But we finally finished the concrete countertops with an angle grinder and now we're able to show you the final product!

It came out looking great. If you half butt something below your standards, it will eat at you. That’s why I can’t get my Toy Chest Bench done. Haha

I agree DIY shouldn't mean it's not as good ha, hard work and determination has paid off its looking pro standard, on another note please don't spray water onto a grinder haha, expected a bit of a bang then lol, well done on another excellent video 👏

It turned out really great in the end! I admire your grit…pun intended. That was not an easy fix but you made it work. I like the satin finish also.

Great job honey. DIY is sometimes about learning from your mistakes as the learning will take 10 x longer to correct or live with. I still think it looks fabulous remember the greatest critic will always be you. Perfection takes time. Not that this project isn't great because it is!!! But it's your opinion that counts. Next time because there will be one!! Go with your gut and not with instructions especially with extreme heat or cold conditions but I don't need to tell you that you already know. I wish I had this in my garden. xx

love the finish product, you did a great job. why do you think you had trouble with the counter tops. i'm getting ready to do cement counter tops and will be using some of the same products you did. thank you for the video, you are awesome

Thank you! Our issues with the countertops is because of the heat outside and not mixing enough water so get the mix to pancake consistency that flows when you pour it and you should be fine.

A sander is the wrong tool. What you need is a concrete grinder/polisher.

I’m aware but didn’t have one of those and they sell grinding/polishing pads for sanders so I was improvising
