Finale Night Performance - Pentatonix - "I Need Your Love" By Calvin Harris Feat Ellie Goulding

Oh..unfortunately we are at that brink again of cancellation =(..the ratings fell a lot since the premiere and didn't have a good hold on the voice lead in..it also only scored a 1.3 in the finale when it got a 1.6 two years ago but that ended in November..but it's also down from season 2 where it got a 2.7 and that ended on the end of december too...i'm pretty sure that they might re-cancel it again =( but who knows, maybe it'll still come back just for a limited run....:/
I knew we were gonna see them perform in the finale and even after 2 years later they still sound as awesome as ever! Though i know most people will disagree with me but i didn't think the intro that was sung by Mitch didn't sound that good for the song...:/ but it's nice to see that Kirstie dyed her hair so now she stands out lol and who knew that Avi could sing that well since we didn't hear him sing often if at all on the series they won...A-

I think my favourite thing about them is how concentrated they are on each other. I've noticed from watching their live performances that if one of them accidentally speeds up or slows down, the others pick up on it quickly and speed/slow to match. Not many people have the ability to catch up because most are more concentrated on their own performance, and it's especially difficult for acapella groups. Amazing.

Home Free mighta got 'em, especially if this was the year PTX won, they've really grown since then. PTX would have been the more exciting, but Home Free was smoother and more consistent. Let's just be glad they didn't face off with each other. Acappella needs them both.

Russell Houghton Well, you have to remember that the season PTX (season 3) won was much much longer and more challenging than the one when Home Free won (season 4). Sure, they were consistent and didn't make a lot of mistakes. But they didn't get as many chances to mess up like PTX did. And actually, PTX only really made a mistake (or wasn't consistent) for one week. I think it was the 2nd week when PTX made a mistake in the arrangement, and after that, they really took off and stayed strong for the rest of the show. Home Free's season lasted only a week in total. Whereas PTX's season lasted 3 months. I don't know. Even though I love Home Free and think they've improved a lot, I still think PTX would've edged them out. Especially if Season 4 had been 3-4 months like Season 3 had. Because PTX was not only consistent, but they were edgy and pushed the envelope of acapella. But of course, you're entitled to your opinion. I'm just biased in favor of PTX.

Kristine Silmaro You could easily be right. My feeling was that PTX didn't really emerge as the leader til week 4 or so. By the end, PTX was obviously the best group, but maybe the longer contest gave PTX time to mature. Had they gone against Home Free in a shorter season, they might not have got that time. in season 4, we all knew after the first episode that Home Free was the best. Had they compteted...who knows? I like PTX better myself. That's part of why I'm glad they didn't compete. Plus, they way it worked out, both acts are exploding right now, and that is good for acappella music.

Musicians are ALWAYS saying, "Man, that was great! Show me how you did that!!" I'm from the UK don't have a Capella here like they do in the USA! It's great! Iv just came across this show it's fantastic what they do! I only watched Panationcs performances, I'm trying to look for the album on I tunes! The USA has so much more better fun things for people to work for, to do and aspire to!! I wish I was from the USA a great country that is! America for the most part is by far the best country in the world! Why does Avi have to be so damn sexy?? That smirk just kills me. and those hips are insane, I want to dance with him! Haha love PTX though, they are so talented and just generally awesome. Love that we got to hear Avi's singing voice. Also Scott's voice is pure sex, but that goes without saying I think, and I get the feeling he plays for the other team anyway.
