i watched several review videos and you're the only one to mention short battery life. thanks

Love the concept. The most visually entertaining videos are made when you combine the strengths of many different cameras together. Still waiting for a camera that has good footage that you can mount to yourself while running

Ive seen people run with this on their hat, so the head acts as a natural gimbal. Persoanlly I'm not great with added weight on my head as I find it uncomfortable, but this is probably the best solution for the time being.

Coz just for recording some rides or snaps, sometimes reaching the jersey pocket and grabbing the phone (especially with gloves) is just not possible (at my skill level lol)

@@hippo71124 I agree, even I am still a bit nervous about doing this. Having it readily available right there on the chest is a great solution.

Well done Josh, technologies these days are so much better. I remember when I used to mount a GoPro on the bike handle bars and it kept falling off. Love how small and agile the camera is, only small tweak I would suggest is the angle is a bit low when you wear it on the chest. The footage is showing a bit too much ground and not enough of what is ahead. Not sure if you could adjust the lens to a wider angle or mount it a bit higher. Otherwise, it would be a great tool for more exciting videos to come :)

Thanks for the comment Richard. It’s great to see a new player in the market who has promoted some innovation in the space. Yes, I need to work on the angle of the camera. Originally I thought I could just chest mount it, but I realise I need to use the angle mount since I ride quite low.

Hey Josh, is there a way of mounting the insta360 go 3s to bike? Love your content btw

Thanks Josh. Another great vid and an excellent review. Really like the Insta, but the cons are a deal-breaker for me. By far and away the majority of my riding are in the twilight hours; 5:00 am starts and earlier. The battery life of 30 minutes on the small cam is too short. I’d want well in excess of an hour. Lastly, do you have to take the entire camera or can you just take the little pod camera out on its own? All that being said the Insta is a great product. Again, great review.

Thanks mate for the comment and also telling me your personal use case. If I’m just going to take short little clips I won’t bring the case. But I find it’s very useful to bring the case since you can review footage and also use it to frame shots remotely. Sounds like the AcePro might be the best camera for you. Thats the main camera I use for filming the night time SOP rides and also my crits. With that being said there is nothing stopping you from using the little camera inside the pod like you would any normal action camera and getting 1.5~hrs battery life.

Random question of the day mate. Where are your frames from? I'm on the hunt for a new pair ATM. Another great video.

All good. I love random questions. The brand is called Lozza. I got them from Bupa optical a few years ago. Not sure if it’s available anymore there.

I'd be anxious about losing the camera using the magnetic mount through a jersey.

It’s actually very secure. I’ve seen many people use it with no issue. Another alternate is to secure to a helmet with zip ties

Cameras with magnetic attachment systems are a "no-no" for anyone with a pacemaker. Pacemakers use a magnetic switch for powering them on and off.

Interest died when you stated a battery life of 30 min. That is never going to be long enough for me as a rider. I currently get 2 hours out of my Contour and it is 11 years old, used to be longer. But you have sparked an interest now.
@joshkwan3 ай бұрын
You can put it back in the pod and it recharges very quickly. 👍🏻
@joelconolly55742 ай бұрын
Considering the peapod size that it is you can't fit everything in it without some compromises. Barely fit a bigger sensor, better lens and probably bigger battery on this size alone. That's why the DJI Action and Go Pro's exists. Maybe the Go 4 they can add a half inch sensor and bigger battery just to increase the battery life and light sensitivity a bit. For now, this is as good as small cameras can get.
@PIXEL_RoboChannelАй бұрын
The camera has 170 minutes of battery when you put it in the pod
