How do you know if you're shot if you can't see who is shooting? Surely this leads to you shooting at one guy and another one dying right? Is that just one of the quirks of reenacting? Amazing video.

When you are using blanks in reenactments, do you have to wear ear protection or is it quieter than a real round?

You really should wear ear protection, but people often forget. Blanks are about as loud as real rounds.

Semi auto weapons are often real ones with an adapter to fire blanks. Full auto weapons *might* be real with an adapter, or a purpose built functional prop that shoots blanks. The real ones are kinda rare and VERY expensive.
