Looks cleaner without the guard and enjoy what you’ve done to the truck. Definitely get some leds, have crystalLux xhp in my fogs and like them. v.4 from headlight revolution $$$ but probably one of the best - might swap my hids for these.

I like without the bug guard, and I also have a 97 extended cab but it’s a stepside. mine has the 99-03 bumper and grill conversion on it i feel like it makes the truck look newer and way cleaner

Aux beam led bulbs! And you should look into swapping the bumper for a 2000 year model with the fog light holes

I believe it’s factory bug guard. I took mine off and went back and forth but I finally left it off. That’s how I like it ? Any way I really like your head lights they’re simple and clean don’t change them ? Some of the one pieces are kinda cool but ya know your larry your style👍 I’ve got the same paint but 2000 bumper and no pin stripe .when it was hot enough out i peeled off the door bump trim off the sides 👍 I don’t have super lot of material yet but u can check out my truck on my channel 👍 I did find a 14” lift that I’m putting on once this virus dies off and get more hrs at work 🙏 love your channel keep it up 👍👍👍

I got Auxbeam 9007 LED from amazon that are dead white and really good lights. The high beams are more yellow stock, but the low beams are nice and bright. They have connectors that fit right in and have a ballast for the LED

Larry needs front and rear bumpers aluminum painted to match. And I only use zxe bulbs they look blue at store but shine clear white.

I been running lasfit 9007 for 3years already they are a pretty bright white, I’m going to try auxbeam 9007. Get switch backs for the corners make sure they are the same color and warmth as the lowbeams. Get a bumper and valance from the super crews with fog lights, and add some towhooks, and led dash.

I have auxbeam $30 low beams in my 2001 Silverado. Some people hate on auxbeam, but I’ve had them 2 years and they work fine. Very bright even with a tinted windshield

I have the identical truck but a 4.6 and 4wd,but most every light for these suck halogen wise,don't go with HID's they give off to much head and will crack and it melt your lenses,made that mistake a few years back,go with all LED's a 6k is a perfect white,might blind people but you'll have no problem being able to see,I have a local led dealer around me so I have his kind of led's but amazon has some good ones,don't go the cheapest route of the 30$ set of led's but some in the 50-60$ range make the world of difference,and as far as switch backs for the turn signals I'd recommend syntheticUSA there one Amazon only 35$ come with load resistors so they won't blink fast as if a bulb is going out bright as you'll ever want and just give it a clean bright look,also use those for the brake/turn signals in the back.. they have a set that just do red and then brake or blinker are applied they give off a stupid bright red,hope this may help you out some,love the trucks and the videos man may start making some on mine soon follow me on Instagram if you would and see mine @ya_boi_carruth have a good one man

Sylvania zevo leds they are 6k and go for bout 100 bucks for 2... I would also recomend the same zevo leds for your signals and markers... You will probably have to buy the resistors to prevent hyper flashing...

Get a Hikari Bulbs, I’ve used them on my 1998 f150 and it just complements the front end, it’s a perfect white and it’s not too bright

If you don’t want to go LED or HIDS go with osram cool blue bulbs had them for a while and has a nice white to it they say it’s rated at 5000k but osram is also with sylvania as well

I’ve bought into the “white” halogens before haha. Was so disappointed at the color compared to what was advertised. I got me some genssi led bulbs now and I like them. Definitely a hell of a lot brighter than halogens.
