Thank you for your review! Very informative. I started editing in LumaFusion 5 years ago on an iPhone 6. The fact that I could do desktop NLE style video editing on a phone was revolutionary. It definitely saved many of my video memories from oblivion. Nowadays my workflow usually starts on my phone, where I do about half of my work (cutting, trimming, titles etc) and then I move to the iPad for things that benefit from the precision that a bigger screen enables like masking and coloring.

@@RJBaculo It is going to be a fun ride. After 5 years I’m amazed that I still find ideas for new things to do with LumaFusion. I believe that some of the limitations of the app actually encourage creativity. For example I made an implementation of a displacement map in LumaFusion. Who would have thought that’s possible.

Great video! I've been waiting, seemingly, forever for this app. I am totally invested in Samsung (well, really Android) and even have considered purchasing an iPad again to get LumaFusion. Glad I waited it out. I have the Galaxy S7+ tablet and I recently got the Fold4. In essence I have two tablets to edit on. One's just a part time tablet. Works fantastically on both and I'm having a great time shooting and editing and tinkering around in the app. Great stuff.

Unfortunately I'm missing a good selection of ready-to-use transitions and title-/ text-animations... So far I'm a bit disappointed. @@RJBaculo I don't own Apple devices at all but I do see the thousands of 3rd party offers as plug-ins for the iOS version like transitions, title&text effects, LUTs etc. These grow over the years. I use PowerDirector for quite some time and it has it's limits but in respect of transitions and text animations e.g. they are quite good actually. Yes, LF allows you to create everything yourself but I'm not a (software) designer and I do not have the time for it unfortunately. Cheers, Bernd

Actually, I appreciate you making the demo on a less powerful phone. That's certainly more like for most people than the few that will own the latest flagships. If it works well for most of us, they can extrapolate even better responded from their newer more powerful smartphones. The other way around doesn't always work like that. Anyway, its about time Android got some love. Sometimes software (and hardware too) manufactures give us the feeling the iPhone is the only smartphones on the planet.

Hi Sir I'm about to Purchase Lumafusion Android but before I purchase can you please tell me if Luma Android can Export our Video in 60fps , 120 fps . Above 60fps. Because every tutorial video i saw on KZbin about Luma, I saw them Only Exporting in 30fps. I do a Lot of GoPro Video edits in Slow Motion so There's no way i Record in 60,120 fps and Export in 30 fps.

Yes you can export your project 60, 120 even 240 fps! I just check it now on my S10 ;)

You can and it works well when you're editing super wide 21:9 or anamorphic footage but when it's regular 16:9 footage I found the landscape layout too small for the viewer and timeline (especially when working with layers)

Does the device heat while exporting videos from lumafusion? (1080p video)

Perhaps a little, but nothing on the overheating side of things. So far, I've never exported a project that was more than 3mins long. A longer project running time might heat up more. Also depends on device.

Definitely kaya 4K. Hindi ko pa na try higher resolutions than that but i think kaya. Depende na lang sa device mo kung smooth yung playback and performance.

Some ppl said they had issues using iphone .mov files in this Android app but i tried it for myself (transferred footage from my iPhone 14 Pro via Dropbox) and was able to edit the footage. It works for me.
