Thanks for sharing typical German dish. Arch you are blessed by God with a Godly & loving German wife. I have a female German friend here in the US, we're both nurses. I also have a male German friend here, his family originated from Sigmaringen, Baden-Wurtemberg, Germany. His grandpa was captured by Russians post WW2, & became POW in Russia. He was imprisoned for many years & was released at a very old age. My German friends here are very sensitive when you ask them about WW2. Just heads up, they don't want to hear the word "N-z-" & I'm unsure if your wife/her parents feel the same way.

In most places Roast goose is favored traditionally over the turkeys . Goose meat is always moist but has a little more fat,. I personally I prefer its flavor. A full grown goose weighs around 20-24 pounds but turkeys can easily double that.
