I've been taking notes and keeping your suggestions next to my computer, kind like a Shimmy checklist. I realized watching some of your other videos that my designs were too complicated so I've been going through them and simplifying as much as possible. The fonts you chose are kind of masculine is there a more feminine readable font you'd recommend for shirts specifically for women?

Wow! I’m honoured! I hope they’re helping you. I occasionally go for more playful fonts but I haven’t seen a difference with masculine or feminine fonts. I don’t think that’s affected my female buyers at all

i very rarely get returns but when i do and they're warranted, i speak to the fulfilment company and refund the buyer

Would you consider, instead of doing 100 designs, using a personalisation app so the customer could choose the one word that changes?

Ye that could be cool and I’ve thought about doing that but it’s very hard to implement to a custom website

@@shimmymorris1 gotcha. I use AnywherePOD personaliser which can be used with Etsy or Shopify. Takes time to set up but if you're handling loads of orders it's a big time-saver.

the biggest takeaway from watching a lot of youtube is I need to learn how to make far less interesting designs to be succesful on etsy ;)

Nope not really. If someone copies so be it. That’s life. If it’s a particularly high selling product I’ll probably ask them to remove it but most of the time it makes no difference
