Jeff---New to your channel, but I have several cars like you do and also live in FL. Is this place where your cars are located part of a business you own? Some kind of storage place you own or lease? Just curious, I would like a shop about the same size as yours to keep the "toys."
@JeffAshton5 жыл бұрын
Robert Mueller I was initially using it for business use only, but now it’s mainly just for personal use/storage.

MACH MAN 1 thanks man! I’m happy with how it’s turned out so far, I’ve got to get the camber plates in now and have some caliper studs to install to make it easier to swap out pads. 🙂

I’m in static, can’t wait to see the footage you motivate me Mr. Ashton. Part of me dislikes you for creating a “whipple stang” which is my dream car, and has caused me to work 60 hours a week 6 days till I can complete my goal Lol. GT 350 out my price range by my version of the whipple stand will hopefully make you proud when I’m done. Again so happy your back in my perfect world you would be installing my whipple I hope you do well at your shop hard to find people who will take care of your car as you would your work speaks for itself.

Glad to see you back man! Ever consider doing long tubes on the GT350?
@JeffAshton5 жыл бұрын
Avery's Tech I probably won’t end up doing LTs or a tune since I’m planning to continue tracking this car hard and it would be nice to have the warranty in tact if the motor lets go. With that said, the car sounds perfect right now so I would only be doing it for power gains. Either way, extremely happy with how this car is right now all around.

Glad to see you back Jeff , and good to see you driving the car , I'm afraid to even take my new 2019 premium performance package gt out of the garage, let alone track it LoL ! Have a good weekend Jeff!

Steve Hall thanks Steve! It’s definitely a bit nerve racking getting into tracking, I added insurance as well for peace of mind. Not willing to risk the value of the car! 😁

Awesome! I would love to find out how the Shelby GT350 compares to the M2 Comp on track later on. Enjoy your track day! 👍
@JeffAshton5 жыл бұрын
I can’t wait to find out too! The M2C is more compact and nimble so it will be fun to experience something different on the track.
@johnsteers4826 Жыл бұрын
Yup. In the garage again. Bet the guy with your M2 is killing it at the track….

Why do most people only get the passenger side oil separator? These engine have two pcv valves.
@JeffAshton5 жыл бұрын
Zack Young you can do both, but as Charles mentioned the driver’s side doesn’t collect much, if any oil.

Going to Mustang Week?

Nice video... but I have to ask... what's with the roll bar that requires you to cut the factory interior trim.. and harness clips that will damage the threshold trim? Why do I feel like there are other parts you should have bought that are actually GT350 compatible? Also, why rush it to the track? Have the extra camber installed, and make sure the car is truly track ready.
@JeffAshton5 жыл бұрын
I bought everything at the same time, but the initial plan was to have everything installed before I hit the track. Roll bar was a safety addition and harnesses are one of the most important track mods in my opinion for keeping you in your seat. If I had to start with one mod it would be harnesses. The factory DOT4 fluid did exceptionally well, despite having SRF ready to go in. As for camber, it was not an issue at all for one track day at the FIRM. I’m just happy I finally got out and now can focus on dialing in the car even more. 👍

@@JeffAshton How did you like the gravel/dirt road?lol I am a regular at that track. How did you like it? Have you ever driven Sebring? If not, you are in for a hell of a track day! Also, if you ever want to go to Roebling Road Raceway, I have a few friends that run a small track day business called Open Throttle Track Days. They host a track day twice a year (Nov and May)... Limitted to 20 - 30 cars which makes for a ton of track time and pretty much no traffic :)

So track armor works well but you need to take your time applying it for real. YOu may want to look into road armor. im trying it soo.
