Tuning for A/F ratio, any flash, reflash back is automatic denial. NOS, turbo or SC other than OEM, don't dream. They will find flashes & mileage associated. Reduces life of components & not how car is intended to run. ... Well, I wouldn't have bought a racing model as a daily or a Ford. With a new engine, keep it but don't race it. I would have picked a V6 & let it be. Let someone else blow their engine.

Everyone says don't get the GT350 unless it's the newer gen 2 Voodoo.. And even then guy's are having issues, IDK I love the GT350 but it's not a reliable car from what all their owners say..

By comparison it makes the Mcleod line look like cheap junk. I have both and the Mcleod Is Not going in!! It's going back to AM LOL...

You made out great with getting the Gen 2 version of that motor. And that is totally typical of dealerships and sales people too.. Beautiful car though for sure.. It's sad what we have to go through to get our cars running right too.. I have a 17 GT and I just hit 14K miles and I'm starting to get the MT82 3rd gear lockout... I bought the car a year ago with 9K on it and never had any high rpm lockout. But now it's starting to happen more and more at redline when I go for 3rd. It's not all the time but it's starting to happen now. It's sad because the trans is smooth and shifts great 98% of the time.. And I don't want to throw the kitchen sink at it yet, but I am going to little by little this. I did the syncro shift 2 and I am doing a clutch line next week.. I here that helps a lot. Some say it's the clutch line thats the real fix. IDK... Everyone says do a clutch, the line, and a shifter.. But I'm going to do what affordable first. I can't wrap my head around pulling out a clutch that is still newish not yet..

I feel the same way about NVH.. I hate it.. If I was taking it to a drag strip I would maybe feel different..

Short throw shifters are not what they are all cracked up to be. I had one in my Roush Mustang. I had the MGW.

I like that you don't have to trans mount it. I don't daily mine for the most part but I definitely don't want to lose that stock feel because there is a month or 2 out of the year where I will daily the car. I just wish it was only a 20% drop though.. I want to keep the reverse lockout the way it is too.. OH and I hate NVH... I pulled out the Steeda trans insert like 2 days after putting it in.. I couldn't stand the NVH from that..

These cars will not go up in the value because demand is low on poorly engineered motors. Gen 2 is also failing. Having to get a car to 180 degrees to drive and then needing to cool it down is stupid.

I had it installed in my 2016 GT. At first it was very stiff, and hard to get into reverse. It loosened up. But you have to shift more deliberately, because it does take more effort.

I would buy back the core, block and heads. You can either store it as is or rebuild it to 2019 engine specs. Keep it on an engine stand as a talking piece. Voodoo and coyote engines make wonderful art work until you sell or reinstall it.

I have been having problems with the shifter , 3rd and 5th crank if I go fast with the gears I have to wait like a second after I push the clutch. It’s a new clutch from ford 😅

I would put a gen 2 cross plane coyote engine in it and be happy

I have had my 17 for about a year I don't have the premium package. Would rather have climate control but it doesn't oh well. My complaints about the car are the small rear view mirrors, lack of a backseat, and to get anything in the backseat the seat does not slide forward as well as tilt like my 06 used to. I will never figure out why Ford didn't do that. Other than that 435 horsepower is plenty and the car handles like a dream and I'm very satisfied with this car

I can top that re: police behind you. I had a big accident in my work truck on the PA turnpike, totaled, I was pretty bloody but there was an ambulance behind me when it happened.
