I just became a subscriber. At first, early on in the video, I noticed your cadence in speaking was very fast. But, having viewed numerous online reviews about the new XPS 15, I was looking for someone to really put it all together in a thorough and honest manner that I knew to look for when I saw it. Well, I just saw it. Thank you! I am pretty much set on getting it with the exact specs that you have for yours. That said, I am concerned about getting one from a "bad" batch. I do not want to be on the phone with CS support. Perhaps I will give it another month for Dell to get this all straightened out or may be I will place my order tomorrow. Either way, your assessment was spot on both fair but also realistic. Great Job!! I got the extra push that I needed.

I had a chance to review both the New Dell XPS 15 2020 and the Dell XPS 15 2019 versions personally. My only complaint about the new Dell XPS 15 2020 version is that the keyboard is good, but not as good as the 2019 version. I love the keyboard travel, and the power button feels SOLID on the older version of the XPS. My two complaints about the older XPS 15 is that it supports only ONE M.2 Slots, and that the speakers are on the downside instead of having top firing speakers like the 2020 version does. Hey Dell, are you listening ?
@jediknightdiscomike224 жыл бұрын
@Sagres d'Amor Yes it does. The new laptop keyboard does feel pretty good. But on the older laptop, it feels more premium. I just love the keyboard on the previous model.

@Brian Alex Did you consider the Razer blade 15 base or advanced model ? Did consider the base model, the advanced one is much more expensive than the XPS 15 here. But I went for the XPS 15 since it's more compact, has better battery life, better trackpad and USB C charging. All dell xps 15 9500 have this issue, even more earlier models. All reviewers are ignoring such questions and tell smth like "speakers are gorgeous", "these are ones of the best speakers on the market" and etc while speakers are complete ****. Yes, they are loud enough, but they are crackling (only turning the laptop upside down solves the problem). I was going to buy xps 9500 and even ordered it one week ago, but when it arrived and I checked the speakers - I've sent it back. There is a big topic on dell's forum regarding this issue: www.dell.com/community/XPS/XPS-15-9500-distorted-crackling-audio-built-in-speakers/td-p/7759332 Dell is ignoring this problem, people replaced those speakers several times, changed their laptops, but it doesn't help. It's not a software, it's a hardware problem. I can't understand people buying such an expensive laptop with such terrible speakers while admiring them. Everybody mentions the problem with trackpad, but at least it can be fixed with minimum efforts (which is also not acceptable for such a premium device), while the problem with speakers is more serious and cannot be solved.
