As a gamer for over 40yrs I will never understand the animosity between consoles. I always buy the new Xbox and I always buy the new Playstation and I have a great time playing both.... Am I missing something ?

Well for me it's just about having standards , I dont wanna support the company that thinks its acceptable to shove ads all throughout its UI when you spending hundreds on they console already and I don't wanna support the company pushing an anti consumer rental service , I believe in vote with your wallet Xbox trying to kill that with subscription is something I can't get behind which is why il never buy Xbox while those two aspects are a thing, gamepass is also another attempt to kill off used games along with they digital only consoles they still at that nonsense , company can't be trusted to do right by it's players

I have Gamepass on my 4K Firestick Max direct connected and gets about 400MB/s. Black-Ops 6 is COMPLETELY UNPLAYABLE. The latency makes this game a no-go.

Being an Xbox owner since 2002 and owned 6 Xbox consoles and more than 400 games since then, i can clearly say that Xbox has no identity anymore.......Their best generation was the original Xbox and the 360 and after that it has been in decline due to mis management and bad messaging. And the latest message being the worst where they gave a hard slap to their die hard fans by making this once-amazing platform irrelevant today.

Aside from the work i do on my computer i also play Hunt Showdown online and Starcraft II....... I play Halo Infinite multiplayer on my Xbox though. Although i stand with what i said that Xbox lost its identity with this kind of leadership.

What they *don't* tell you is that while your machine that can run Game Pass is an "Xbox", if it's not a console or a high-end PC, you're not getting the full Xbox experience. You are not playing the game at it's full FPS/Graphical potential, and you *will* suffer lag/latency issues especially in multiplayer modes. This is a fact. So I am absolutely sick of people talking about this as if it's a substitute for the same game when it's not if you don't have a console or PC that can run it at max.

Why does DEI sound like such a great idea on paper but then doesn’t include what gamers want in a video game…. Put different pigmentation in games, culture, ect in games but do not try to influence people or lecture them on sexuality and personal preference. That is your own personal choice and should not influence anything. Some of these developers need to clean house and prioritize talent over DEI. I think this ad is great, all it's doing is reaffirming what we already know. Times are changing, it's not 1995 anymore, I too miss the days of consoles having their own identity and owning all of our games on 1 disc or cartridge. But them days are gone and people game on a multitude of devices now, I don't even know many people that still game on consoles, it's either a PC or phone, if they pointed to a PS5 and switch and said "this is an Xbox" then yeah, that would be a problem but they didn't and I can't work out what everyone is all up in arms about. Death stranding is now on Xbox, Lego horizon is on the switch, that should tell you all you need to know

I love my series X, game pass has been amazing and was the reason I jumped to getting a series x. However, I feel the best route to go next gen will be a PC for game pass and a PlayStation to fill my console needs of convenience around the house.

I mean, imagine if they create the ability to play anything on any computer to where their software can utilize most devices CPU’s to do the critical work that will remove the lag in a much simplified manner. For instance for an FPS, the local CPU would handle inputs, player tracking, and minor graphic calculations. BO6 / MWF 3 both very playable on Asus Rog, so is forza and a ton of other titles. Hope Microsoft makes a handheld - great space and they are a fun option for gamers

It's pretty simple. With Microsoft pushing all of their flagship titles to other consoles there's really no reason to buy an Xbox console unless you're just hell bent on playing on Microsoft hardware. I guarantee if games like Halo, Forza, Gears, etc go to Playstation the next Xbox console will fail miserably right out the gate because buying a Playstation and having Playstation exclusives AND access to play Xbox first party games is a no brainer purchase. Other option which I have moved to is having PC Gamepass and a playstation.

In a nutshell, there's new Xbox hardware on the way because that option needs to be there like an audiopile has their high-end audio equipment at home....the mobile device on the go...and probably some cheap MP3 boom box Bluetooth speaker next to the desk at work. They'lll listen to that song anyway They can, but they'll prefer it at home...on the high-end joint. Not everyone that has that home stereo will settle for the on the go tho, but that options there. Not everyone that has only the on the go option can afford that high-end option...but that option is there. that's why there's gonna be another dedicated Xbox console.

And just because the console might not be the number one money Maker in the game's division...Doesnt mean no matter how many units they sell...That its not making money or profiting at the end of itd life cycle. Also, just because you're not number One in the market doesn't mean being number 5 is still not profitable For you. you might be way behind number one and still be profitable out ur bottom section. Why are all the fat food (yes...fat) spots still chugging along after staying number 2, 3 ,4, etc. behind Mccy D's so many years.

Because Sony would sue that Microsoft/Xbox are using photos of Playstation to insinuate the PS5 is an Xbox on the grounds of damaging the image of the Playstation. Gamepass is already on those products in the picture. Doing it on the PS5 you'd need to do it through the browser, which wouldn't surprise me if Sony would block if they already haven't.

PC: gets Sony exclusives, gets All Xbox games, and thousands of PC only games. Cheaper games . No cost for online play. And you can literally do 100’s of other things with your PC. Also video games are made where…thats right fanboys, on PC!!!

As a die hard Xbot who’s been there from the beginning it’s hard to hear that the likes of Halo, Gears and Forza making the jump to midstation. Don’t care if the go to Ninty but I’d hate to see them on midstation! Only because the pony’s would be even more unbearable. But I’ve given it some thought it actually means more players for the multiplayer portion’s of those games which is a good thing!

I play on a new Surface Pro 11 X elite. I switched from an iPad Pro, not because of gamepass, but because of my use case. However, now I discovered gamepass, and my son bought me a controller, the Surface zooms ahead of the iPad Pro!

Great News Episode Colt 👏🏽, IMO, the Xbox everywhere is an out of touch marketing message, because XCloud gaming is horrible and looks bad on a 4k tv. The only decent Cloud Gaming service is GeForce Now, and you cant access your personal games like you can on a Xbox Series X. I've personally tried XCloud, its gotten better but its not a way I would personally choose to play my Xbox games. IMO, nothing beats a native experience of gaming on a Series X/S, and a Xbox handheld would be a proper way the play Xbox games on the go. And I'm looking forward to the next generation Xbox console, Stay Safe.

I've been with Xbox since the OG and the Xbox brand has certainly changed since then. If I'm honest I'm actually excited to see where this all goes. Having multiple different devices and being able to play my Xbox catalogue of games on them is great. I purchased Dragon Quest 3 2D/HD yesterday and the Xbox version is the play anywhere version and I'm visiting my parents this weekend and I'm able to download and play it on my MSI Claw. So not only has it saved me money and I've not had to buy the PC version of Dragon Quest 3 but I'm also able to play it on a handheld PC anywhere I go. People who keep saying this is the end of Xbox haven't got a clue what they're on about. Microsoft knows exactly what they're doing and this is the future of gaming. TeamGreenAllTheWay!

If you didn't have an Xbox, you'd have bought the PC version and still had the same benefits, playing the game on a handheld PC anywhere you go. So, I don't see how your story proves that this isn't the end of Xbox. In fact, you've made a case for Microsoft getting rid of the Xbox and not obstructing you from just buying your games on PC.

@G360LIVE Yeah if I didn't have a Xbox. I would have bought the PC version on Steam, which would have let me play the game anywhere but I do have an Xbox and when Sony and Nintendo are doing nothing like this to let you purchase one version of a game and let you play both the console and PC version on multiple different devices how is this not pushing the boundaries of video gaming? Like I said I'm excited to see where things are going with the Xbox brand and like I also said Xbox knows what they're exactly doing.

I'm watching this on my PS5 because my series X can't handle 4k video without bright white fishes every few seconds and obscene loud noises jumping in which sounds like it's going to break my speakers. Apparently everyone without a vrr display gets this and they've never fixed it in 4 years!

@colteastwood yeah. I've tried everything! Only way to get it to stop is to turn off 4k and leave it at 1080p so I've given up using Xbox for watching videos (yes it happens on every streaming app)

I have 1286 games across to Xbox accounts so if I can’t access them all on multiple devices or at least an Xbox in a PC what is the point? I’ve had a series S from launch which I’m still on I’ve had two series exes which are broken sold them mainly for parts and I’m currently saving up for a new PC which will be high spec or anything but if I can play a few games over there that would be good
