I love the overlay and commentary of your X-wing videos, and I really think that it is the gold standard for youtube. It's just a shame that the videos come out so infrequently, I would love to see mini-leagues, or even just casual games from Team Covenant.

Love these batreps, great format. 2x speed and your commentary plus player comments are a pleasure to watch. The only piece of feedback I can offer is to have a running tally of points for each player on screen so we can see the stakes as the clock winds down. TIE/D is not the negative two points cost title. It's the cannon then primary attack title for zero points. No EVADES are given.

You have to play ten rounds of swiss + the elimination games after the cut to get into the finals of an system open. People are gonna be tired after that and you can't really fault them for it really. I'm already playing sloppy after five game at a small store tournament...

At 14:20 in the video they measure Quickdraw's range for Fen and Asajj. Fen is range 2 Asajj is Range 1 but then he only rolls 2 dice for each attack. Shouldn't he have rolled the range 1 bonus from his auxiliary arc?

You are correct. Though I suppose that's counterbalanced by the fact he shouldn't have been able to use Expertise while stressed.

The way you guys use the templates...pretty loose imo, not something i would think to see in a Finals. 22:30....just making sure you are in range?Overall feel......to casual to loose to hasty.... It was not a great game because of the sloppiness imo. But everybody that likes to play X-Wing is a winner so have fun!

That would have driven me completely up the wall. I finally stopped watching at 20:20 or so. One way to make sure your BR gets you out of arc? Add an extra .25" to the distance.

Loosing Pure Sabacc so early was unfortunate. Countdown is a useful alternative, however it lacks an elite.

Michael Phillips I played Countdown last night, and he's lots of fun. You're right, the lack of EPT means he's more of a support ship, but his "get out of jail (almost) free" pilot skill makes it easy to take chances and draw fire with him.

Bob McLennan Yea, Countdown is what i use, the ability to stunt a massive range 1 attack is useful. I run Kylo Ren, Countess Ryad, Countdown, it's a fun list, Ryad does the work, the shuttle trolls people with trickshot, and Countdown is more or less hunting for the range one sweet spot, and can be flown somewhat reckless, as if only one person is shooting me, then i know i will just take the one hit if its too much damage coming through.

Honestly Countdown has one major problem: Stress. You can use his ability only one time. If he got Stress early - like for example from a very popular Asajj - he can't use his ability and is dead. In non-control match ups I would definetley count on him!

Meister und Schüler Yea, stress is painful to Countdown. Asajj is so legitimate, i can already see her being in the top lists for awhile, unless they release another wave, or some crazy upgrades really quick.

If I was the imperial player, I would have barrel rolled Sabacc left and back, sacrifice e that five dice shot, but maybe get out of tennis arc and asajjs arc and farther away from Manny, and still hit the lancer with four dice.

He would have still been inside Asajj's Mobile firing arc, but you're right, could well have blocked Fenn with a back-left barrel roll.

@8:40 Sabaac went over a rock when he used AA yet still takes an action to barrel roll. Does that not take away his action like normal when performing a maneuver over an asteroid?

Diversity in the Meta? There are only Paratani in the meta, cheap lists that forgive all mistakaes and lets you have focus no matter what. I hope they nerf mind linknto hell...

No. Mindlink is not broken. It's a double-edged sword, since one stress given (from any source) spreads through the whole mindlink.
