I agree with Mpumi. After a fall-out with a friend, don’t expect to go back to where things were, just focus on what’s ahead. We should not shy away from having uncomfortable conversations with our friends, don’t rush to apologise and forgive because most time it’s not genuine.
@kiwigirl3592 жыл бұрын
Wow so true. We need to embrace what happened and should we mend the friendship it should be done intentionally

My husband was also nice to me when we met but I had to initiate things. I told him that he had to make up his mind about me because we both like each other 😂😂😂 I basically gave him an ultimatum. That was 2 years ago. And now we’ve been married for 3 months. And we’re very happy.

100% agree with Mpoomy on the “traditional “ way of pursuit. I still fall under those that believe that men should chase and go after the ones they want. That way he appreciates more what he had to work for..

What Brenden has mentioned is the Golden rule of money. : Spend less than you earn. The less you spend, the more you have available to earn. If we miss this, there's basically no disposable income to do anything else.

Great installment guys as usual! What I'd say on the friendship with single people is that you can absolutely be in a solid friendship with a person who is single. Paul(a single man) spoke extensively about marriage in the Bible and had the same Spirit we do. So I believe that your single friends can give you valuable advise that can help your relationship with a spouse. It doesn't have to speak directly into your marriage but can be good general advise on how to handle yourself in a certain situation that can help your relationship with your spouse.

I've always felt like I just apologise to validate the other person but I am unsatisfied in the end because I was really being my best in the situation. This was so comforting to me. Thank you

I completely agree with Mpoomy's point about how men don't wanna be men anymore 😂😂. Silly example, but I'm in matric and so far at school we've had zero promposals, when we question the boys as to why they're not asking girls out, they say that they are afraid of rejection😭. Like no man

I think women should stop waiting around to be “chosen” and start asking questions. She clearly wants a future with him so she can ask him what his goals are for their relationship and if they are not on the same page ,she can then make a decision for herself. Waiting around can cause resentment in the long run.

Finances are something close to my heart, what the scripture says in Deuteronomy 8:18, " Remember the Lord your God. He is the one who give you the *Power to be wealthy*...." I'm going to end it here but my thing is we have the Power that is vested in us by the Lord our God to be successful all we have to do is to put on the work and be disciplined and intentional. We can't ask for spirit of money then we sit and do nothing, God gave us the power to be successful and wealthy.

That lady who has been dating a man for 8 years with no prospect of marriage and the guy isn't trying to develop himself, is stuck in sunk cost fallacy when you feel like you've invested so many years of yourself into a person - but to be honest the investment is gone. It doesn't matter to him how many years she's been there with him. She needs to say goodbye.
