So much knowledge! Absolutely free! I was never taught anything about money, I am praying and working to change that. I am 46 no retirement no savings because I made a lot of mistakes when I started investing, trying to correct that now. Already have a few thousand$ saved up to invest for long term. Just buy low sell high. Stick with a good company by either not selling when it’s going lower and/or buying more at that time. Almost always the good well managed companies will come back strong at some point. The other is to get yourself a financial-advisor that can provide you with entry and exit points on the shares/ETF you focus on.

This really makes me want to cry because of so much unfairness that goes on in this world today. It's not right. Even me I grew up the hard way and learned my lesson the hard way and paid yes PAID for my learning thru my mistakes of loosing money but, I thank God I have finally wake up. I agree!! I was not taught any of this in school or from family so I’m 22 and struggling. I just graduated with a social work degree, currently working a 8-5 (not that anything is wrong with it) but it’s definitely not for me and I have no idea what to do or where to start a journey to financial freedom. Great content. Investing is good, but have in mind that investing somewhat fluctuates, and you can get back less than you invested. You have to consider the risk associated with Investing. But if you don't want to risk your capital, saving gives peace of mind.😊

I had 10k in debt and that was down from 23k. I got tired of the the apr and my FICO was really respectable. I finally hit bottom and got serious.about being solvent. I took out a straight l Ioan from my bank to get.away from my cc company. No more revolving debt. I have a four year loan but I am not paying the 1k + in finance charges. I will pay it off with a balance that can't up. Then I will be debt free

I work in education. I really encourage the teachers I work with to push the numbers into dollar signs to do math with life skills. The numbers have to make sense of why they are doing it. I need basic arithmetic to keep track.of my money.ooooh now I understand this..I work in a poverty neighborhood. We have to teach these kids to think beyond the survival mode and how to get there. The parents can't teach what they don't know or never think to teach their kids. My parents were amazing at money but couldn't be bothered teaching me. I also think it was a trap for me. There was a lot of power and control going on.There was financial abuse to keep.me stuck and dependent. There was a LOT of competition with my parents and me.I come from a white family.
