The regular Power Pro Spectra has NEVER failed me through tons and tons of hooksets pulling 3+ pounders through slop. Put it on all my reels. Get rid of that Maxcuatro crap Also, love everything 6th Sense but the Bass Pro Stik-o still reigns supreme in my eyes. Super durable and they come with SO many.

Ive been a fan of the 6th Sense plastics! Nirvana and green pumpkin blue have been my favorites. Thats crazy about the Power Pro line. Its always a gut punch knowing a fish is swimming around with a frog stuck in his mouth. Great vid!!

Debo, I have been using a technique that I knew about a few years ago. It's not one I mention much & it works!!!! There's many variations of it and even more as we read. That technique is the" free rig". It's easy and anyone can do it. Those Cloud worms are deadly used with it as well. It is a game changer when the bite gets tough. Believe me, it's getting tough here right now with all the high temperature here. Just thought I'd mention it. I don't remember if you ever mentioned it or not. I love me some 6thSense products too!!! Great company and good stuff no doubt . Thanks for sharing

That maxcuatro issue is something else - I had some real issues with TERRIBLE backlashes with it, but overall it had good durability. I switched back to the ol' regular powerpro to test it out, and I def have less issues!

The clout is a really good bait man. It’s in my top tier of stock baits. I loved my curado DSV for throwing a worm. It casted so smooth I’m also an idiot and sold it 😂

Yes please do the gill removal diagram. I haven’t been too good and lucky with it because I’m just guessing every time I try it. I killed a Bass last Saturday and still feel reel bad about it. But at least an eagle got it so the “circle of life” thing makes me feel a little better. Thanks for the help.

oh yeah, for MC line, make sure you are using a double palomar. only knot I use on the only braid I use out of choice... doesn't slip

I know the feeling brother- hang in there. I haven't had a decent fish all season but, I have to take some of the blame for that. I had to cut the amount of time I was spending on the water in about half and I've really paid for it dearly. I'm a river rat though and its been flooded since Dec. so- I'm kind of lost this season on the big lakes, in a tiny kayak, with a paddle. But hey man, at least we're feeshin- right? Can't be all bad.

Thank for the info will hive those SP's a try My I suggest Power Pro green braid have four seasons using it and use Power Pro 30 and 50lb braid 100% for frog fishing and never have broken off one time I literally can wrap PP braid around a stout stick and straighten the hooks of and luer Ive ever snagged up from shore

My dink pond dinks love the Clout. Never had any luck previously on a stick bait, about 2 weeks ago I thought what the hell? Gave them a try and they slay it. As you stated durability is average. My heart broke 💔 when your line broke.🤬 Chalk that up to experience.

Hey deebo. Science you like using wacky rigs you should buy the huge packs of scheels senko. There so much cheaper and they work just as well as say a Yamamoto senko or yum dinger

Debo I know your the frog fisherman and very knowledgeable. But when I frog I don’t lock my drag all the way down like pretty much everyone does. I make sure there’s a slight bit of give in my reel until he’s hooked up then I’ll tighten it if I need too. Could just be your line but I don’t even have a problem with 30 lb line. In my opinion. I would rather have give. So I don’t break the line or snap a rod.

Either the 13x finesse, destron or spectra any of the pro line is amazing the super line is good for softplastics or cranks that you don't want to use floro with otherwise their florokote is also legit and affordable
