Dear. Mr Robbins. I came to Ft. Lauderdale Beach one day and got my slippers stolen while I was in the water. I could have bought a pair of slippers but I actually walked barefoot all the way to my car to try to envision life without shoes. My Grandfather built his whole life from making shoes. And it made me take just owning footwear for granted.

When I wasn't allowed to work, all before covid, I started volunteering where I was before I got my first job. I started working with the two elderly women I got to know over a couple years and it really helped. I wasn't sick but I wasn't allowed to do my job so I had to wait several months to get a new job in the company. It took 9 months but I got back eventually. Working with the women I became friends with made me feel really happy every week and I would be excited for a Monday to come along so I could go back and work with them again

Tony, I put myself out of work (have no pension) - I decided at nearly 60 years of age, I must find a way to live my life in alignment with my true purpose - I want to do the thing that will bring me the greatest satisfaction while at the same time helping others. To state it another way - I want to be able to develop my full potential while at the same time help others develop theirs. the question of how is still not clear. You stated "what will make you feel the most alive" - the truth is I am not sure - I have been trying to figure that out my whole life. And the thing or work that may bring me the greatest satisfaction may also not be entirely in my hands. It may require decisions by others whom I am not able to influence in this regard (I know that might sound confusing). I also just started your course and feel that this may be the way forward for me - but I am struggling to experience passion.
@Paulmetatron83 жыл бұрын
From personal experience Ive found that if Im drinking, its hard to find passion. My lack of trust for connection, and the certainty of connection with the self and others when drinking, made finding other passions hard. I dont know you but not many people lack passion except those that lean on things like alcohol. If thats not the case then you should be able to find memories of something you are passionate about. Might need to go back further.

Tony Tony Tony. How the heck are you? A long time ago, my Company Vandernoord Realty, sent us Realtors to your Seminar in Orlando, FL. That seminar was fantastic. Why? Because out of all the Vandernoord Reality Realtors, I was the only one that walked your coals saying the affirmation "cool moss". Yes yes, of course I didn't feel hot coals. I felt cool ash.with a cool moss affirmation. Also, by the way, I walked out one time because my emotions felt so raw, I had to sit by the lake and contemplate. Your one time paid for lady crew actually came out to check on me as a friend and a psychologist. Please know Tony, we, you, your crew and the Divine, will never let you down, as you have never let us down. We Love You!! Kind Regards, Debra Denslow

Yes, I agree. I guess we are on the same page. Standing on stage is more fun, and the few times I got to do it, usually in a different role and in front of much fewer people, of course, it was a great thrill, and I did feel it was what I was meant to do. Yet, every time I tried to make it my business, something happened that made it impossible, and I thought maybe it was because I was on stage in the wrong capacity, that what I was really meant to do was teaching, not acting, serving, not looking for significance, only that 20 years ago I just didn't know what personal development was, I had never heard someone like Jim Rohn, being a school teacher didn't seem to be the right for me because I wasn't quite right for the audience. And then I finally did figure it out, and I thought this time surely it would work because I was doing it to serve this time - and then Covid took the audience away just when I started. And yet I do find that even the work I do now and have done in the past, even when it is repetitive and there is little thanks, and it is much less glamorous, it can have great meaning if you know you are doing it to serve and to help, and there is a chance that you really could make a difference. Well, this time around, the people we work for directly are actually really grateful, and they express it, too, and that makes quite a difference in itself. But yes, even if your contribution is never appreciated by others, you DO know what you did. And maybe this is at this time my way of washing the dishes in the ashram. So thanks for this video. Even if I shouldn't need validation, it still feels really good. Thank you!
