I was just thinking about you today and wondering how you were, and then up you pop! Can the algorithm read my thoughts! 😂. Seriously, I’m so sorry to hear that you have such a rough time and I hope you are now fully recovered from appendicitis? I love the smocked dresses you do for your daughter, and it’s so lovely that she loves that slightly vintage look. Thank you for the recommendation of nightdress pattern as I have some brushed cotton that I want to make up for my granddaughter before it gets too warm for the fabric! I love all your makes, especially that lovely rich burgundy corduroy. I would love to see all your makes if you get a chance to do the video. Hoping things are better for you and yours for 2025! ❤

Did a little happy dance when I saw you posted but I'm sorry for your loss and your hurts this last season! Life it constantly throwing curve balls at us, isn't it.. praying things slow down for awhile for your family! I have a wonderful nightgown pattern I've sewn for my daughters but it's in storage since my sewing room is boxed up to move this year 😮💨.. I'll see if I can find it and edit this to include later today or tomorrow. If I remember correctly it's a little more detailed than the one you just made but I made it in flannel and it's wonderful! Love, love the Ginkgo Pinafore!! I can see it in a flower print for a summer shift, too. Thank you for taking the time to catch us up, I'm usually doing hand sewing when I watch my sewing vlogs so make your videos as long as you want, lol, and I'll watch! Also, I'd love to see another one of your sew-along videos when you're ready.. I just love your cheery disposition and your attention to detail. Thanks again.

It's lovely to see you again, so sorry for all you've gone through since your last video. The Virus shawl was really popular in the fibre community years ago, I tried my hand at it but I didn't care for how large the holes were. It's a fun pattern though and looks lovely in the yarn you chose.

I have a nightgown that is actually a stretchy princess seam raglan sleeve dress. It is McCall's M7349 in a short length, short sleeve and I added pockets. It was originally a test version of a long sleeved long version, but as I made it in a thick brushed sweatshirt jersey. And now I actually wear it more often than the day dress.

So so lovely to see you. I was sad to hear news of the family’s bereavement. It sounds like you have had a lot to deal with. I haven’t watched any sewing videos for around 5/6 months, I can’t believe that I totally lost my interest! It’s think it’s strange how things happen. As I was waiting for my kettle to boil for my first cuppa of the day, you came into my mind! I came straight onto “You Tube” to see what I missed from you.
