This is a beautiful skirt, looks great on you. Viscose/ rayon is so great for soft gathers and low bulk but can be a real beast to sew!

I really enjoyed seeing your realistic sewing makes , I don’t personally wear camis But the rest are things I could see myself sewing and more importantly enjoying wearing a lot .

I wish someone would do a 5 essentials blog again. I am between jobs and I am always rearranging my wardrobe thinking up ideas for making things rather than buying and what is work appropriate and everyday appropriate.

Karen Marie, you had some great ideas for Christmas gift add-ons! I especially liked the Christmas tree napkins and the fabric baskets. Interestingly, I was working on some Christmas gifts while I watched your video. Last September we traveled with a group of friends to Banff National Park of Canada. While in Canada, I picked up some red maple leaf-printed fabrics and am using an adapted Maple Leaf quilt block pattern to make a pair of mug rugs for each couple. I also plan to include some homemade maple iced cookies. I wish I had time to make a basket for the cookies. Thanks for the head start on next year's plans! X
