Neil Chapman’s book is one of my favourite perfume reads. I really like how he chose to approach it and appreciate he offers recommendations to explore. Good on you Pep for saying what you will and will not tolerate on your channel💛

Thank you for suggesting the title. I suppose it's high time I spent a bit of time reading, as opposed to obsessively spraying my life away. I adore galbanum driven scents, which began for me with the Frederic Malle you mentioned. May I suggest three for your consideration. Ex Nihilo's Viper Green is often compared to, yet more complex than Chanel No. 19. Also of note, WeinerBlut's Klubwasser which is like walking into a florist's shop. I've seen people melt over the green luciousness of this one, when I have scent parties. Last but not least and I'm on my second bottle, Floris Vert Fougère. This last one is one of my go to scents. it's smokey and green. And lastly, thank you for the end bit of your clip. I'll continue to proudly recommend your channel to other perfumistas.

Hi Pep! I always enjoy your content and now I appreciate you more! I love green fragrances. My go-to now is FM Synthetic Jungle. I also love Chanel Bel Respiro (finish a decant and hoping to purchase a full bottle but it’s oh so expensive), Dusita La Sillage Blanc (I know you can’t stand this one 😆), Ormonde Women (with an ‘oily’ texture to my nose which set this aside from my other green perfumes) and Chanel 19 Poudre.! Can’t wait to watch other videos from this series ❤️

Hi Pep. I too have Neil Chapman's book. It's beautifully presented and always interesting to refer to. I'm looking forward to enjoying your series loosely based on his fine format. I think this will stimulate some lively exchanges. Thanks for your bold statement at the end. I'm sure it was related to some dreadful comments. Bravo to you for taking a stand & setting the boundary.

Bravo for your declaration and resolve! Bringing it back to perfume, I just got JCE's fragrance for Malle, Angélique sous la pluie (2000). I had gone through two smaller bottles of it and I missed having. Green (fitting in with your theme today) and lovely. I also have a foreboding that some of the older Malle perfumes that are less popular might be discontinued.

Being a human being with strong ethics and morals first and foremost is what every content creator should strive for, instead of taking the whole content creation too seriously. Wish everyone online would be open about who they are as a person, because I am definitely not interested in supporting anyone I can't relate to. I don't believe in cancel culture, but I want my freedom to select who I support in what form and you have my full support.

I have been watching your videos for a while and I even went back to watch some of your older videos. I might be completely oblivious to this, but I have never seen political statements on any fragrance channel. Is this a general problem in the comment section or are you asking a specific political alliance to f'**k off based on their political views? Most rational people that I know don't have irrational fears. The ones that are affraid of race, sexual orientation etc. will find any excuse to justify their irrational ignorance. I guess my question is, is related to the US election, an Australian topic, religious fanatism or a totally different issue? I live in blissful ignorance about most of the content creators I follow. If I knew that any of them are child abusers, drug dealers, or have other deviant tendencies, I would also consider my support. I enjoy your content for what it is regardless of your political stance. Cheers mate.

Love the idea of doing a series based on the Chapman book. Look forward to future installments! Not sure what happened to provoke the coda, but I’m sorry if anyone has been abusive in the comments. I generally read through them and haven’t noticed a problem, but I probably missed it. Anyway, especially with this week’s catastrophic election results here in the US, I have no doubt there is a lot of ugliness to come. These misguided folks are going to feel emboldened now as never before. Luckily I live in the bubble of Brooklyn and am relatively sheltered from it. But I don’t look forward to the next 4 (or, god help us, more) years.

@DaveNYC nothing in the comments, and it generally pertains to what you mentioned, and anyone feeling emboldened. It's a sad fact that there are other frag youtubers/influencers that would have been happy with that result, so they can have those people.
