I love watching your pregnancy videos as I hold/nurse my 4 month old son... pregnancy was such a hard time for me. It’s a very precious experience to be holding that ‘thing’ that was inside of you for so long while watching another woman walk through pregnancy. Little fact for you: less than a hundred years ago blue was the colour for a girl and pink for a boy because it was seen as the stronger, bold colour and blue was softer. Then it went back to being generally white again and was brought back because companies saw a chance to cash in. So silly isn't it! Congratulations X

Let the parent be and when the child can express themselves the parents have every right to do as they please without the court of public opinion inserting their point of view. I have a 3 month old girl and we found out it was a girl in week 18. Everyone was so convinced it was a boy and I've always wanted a girl so I was so happy. I believe it's natural to be curious even though either sexes are equal. But as a woman I've wanted a girl cause I feel like I can be a better parent and relate to her more than if it was a boy. Uuuh, I'm so happy for you! I thought it was normal to find out the sex before the birth. Good explanation though on why you chose to find out and good on you for doing the test for genetic malfunction. My main reason to find out the sex would be to get more excited (like Rich) and to properly settle on a name.

Congratulations!! I wasn’t at all very nauseas with my two girls and had the best skin. But now being pregnant with my first boy I was a lot more nauseas and dizzy. So you can never tell with the symptoms!
