Uber is a very smart move 🥂🍾 I only pay $30 per line for phone and buy phones outright (always) because phone payments are still debt to me. I will not pay too much for my phone anymore!! I need help with the cost of living and random spending. I still spend less & save more but tracking is not a natural habit yet. I have cricket and share it with my husband and daughter and son-in-law. we pay $150.00 a month total and that includes our internet access and hot spots with 10 gb hot spots and 20 gb on the phones. we live in the rural area and can't get internet an other way so for us this is the cheapest way for us so that is the best way for me to do this mini challenge. I also save $11 on hello honey.

Hello and welcome! I suggest for my NewBees 🐝 to start with 3 categories that they would like to start saving $ in . Things like groceries, take out and entertainment are good ones. Shopping or amazon is another good one. Whatever your top spending areas are - Then you will need to do your budget after you are paid to see how much you have left after bills and expenses. They do have a place where you can check their coverage. You enter your zip code and it will tell you if it’s excellent, good, fair, etc. I checked it and it said “excellent” and it is. A friend checked his area and his said “fair” so he didn’t switch. I appreciated that it was actually accurate and doesn’t just say it’s “excellent” everywhere. 💛

I learned years ago that if I paid for the insurance for my phone, it meant nothing because my carrier still made me purchase a new phone with no discount. Therefore, I opt out of paying for insurance
