G'day Shirley 👋🏻🏖️ When the shells are all together in a big shell display, they certainly attain a beauty that greater than the sun of their parts 😁 Oh at least, I like to think so! Thanks for watching 🥰

G'day Bonnie Julien 👋🏻❤️ Thank you, and my goodness yes, so many shells! I was trying to do one large episode at Hervey Bay, as opposed to two. I'll have to think about weather or not it's better or worse to do things this way 🤔 Anyhoo, thank you so, so much for watching 🥰

G'day Trudy 👋🏻💖 It was a super long one, wasn't it? This time, I was experimenting with one very long Hervey Bay episode, instead of two. I think this only works because the variety of shells on this side of the beach and mangroves is a lot. On the other side of the beach, I think the two part episodes is better? Anyway, it sure makes for a big adventure like this 🤩 Wow, today you liked a lot of the more unusual bivalves 😲 they were lovely! And the Short Spined Murex is wonderful too. Also, it's possible that you have a different murex than this one; there are several like the Short Spined Murex with a very, very similar appearance, like the Trappa Murex! Anyhoo, I digress. Thank you so much for always being here to join me on these adventures 🥰

@@ShellingAdventures I think both versions (short and long) are good! Takes a lot to produce content - Altho agree that longer content is enhanced by variety. 🤷🏻♀️ Regardless, I feel blessed you’re willing to share your adventures, knowledge, and passion for shelling.

The land snails are impressive. The Murex are beautiful but it’s the long spindles that I just love today. That Wentel trap just upon reaching the Mangroves was pretty amazing as well. The bugs would send me packing! 😂 I don’t like them!

G'day Green Thumb Gardener 👋🏻☘️ Oh wow, I'm pleased that you liked the pair of Spindles! I'm a bit picky perhaps; I was wondering if they were ok to include them in the video when they aren't perfect with their points 🤣 I still liked them though! Hehe, the Wentletraps were definitely keepers; I really wish I could have spent more time in the mangroves to look for Wentletraps 🐚 but alas, those sand flies were just crazy at sunset!! Thanks for watching 🥰

G'day Lucy 👋🏻💖 Oh my goodness, there are a lot of videos to binge now 😂 I hope you like them? When I watch back a lot of the very earlier ones, I notice a lot of things that I could have done better 😅 but maybe I'm being too critical...definitely start at the most recent and work you way backwards; don't start at the start 😅! Thank you so much for watching these adventures 🥰 there are so many good shells in each of them!

G,day Youni 👋🏻🏖️ I found a bunch of amazing shells on this trip! That Arabic Wentletrap was nice, but gosh, those scallops really stand out with their beautiful colours 🤩 I’m so glad that you liked them, and those beautiful Short-spines Murexes, too! Thanks so very much for watching 🥰

The murex shells were outstanding today! I really loved the first violet nerite shell. 💜💜💜 You know how much I like the flats and also the baler shells…🐚🐚🐚 To be honest you found a ton of amazing shells this trip!!! 🤩🤩🤩 My favorites are the precious wentletrap and the CARRIER shell. Oh my goodness for the details on that little shell. Love love love it! Truly, thank you for a phenomenal hunt Maddie! 🥰🥰🥰
@ShellingAdventures7 ай бұрын
G'day Pam 👋🏻💖 The Murex shells were just 10/10 today with plenty of their lovely textures still intact! The Violet Nerites made me pretty happy too, but I wish I could have stayed in the mangroves a little longer...the setting sun and the mosquitoes 🦟 were really working against me this time (it was a slightly later low tide than I usually go to Hervey Bay for, but still worth it)! Hehe, yes, so many amazing shells in this episode, but it means there isn't a part two in Hervey Bay like usual because it all got rolled into this one 😲 I'm trying to decide which format is better. Ohhh I knew you'd be impressed with that Carrier Shell 🐚 it was a little beauty!! It had some cute little brown rocks on it, it was really nice 😉 maybe one day I'll find a mega sized one here; the home of big shell finds! Thank you so, so much for watching this super long adventure today, it was my pleasure to share it with you 🥰🥰🥰

Good day Maddie, loving all the different scallops and land snails. The jeweled dog welks are certainly very jeweled 😂 today. Excellent day shelling. It's amazing how pretty the nerites are at Harvey Bay. That's one of my favorites Wentletrap. Wouldn't have been a good without the Wentletrap witch striking again. 😂 Again Maddie Thank you for sharing and all the work that goes into it.

G'day Roberta 👋🏻💖 Haha, I wish those Jewelled Dog Whelks did have actual jewels on them 🤣 but alas, no pearls in them! The scallops and land snails were really lovely this time, I always adore finding them on that side of the beach (there aren't as many land snails on the opposite end of this long shoreline) and it's the same with their Nerites too. Which Wentletrap was the favourite; the long Arabic Wentletrap, or the chunky little Precious Wentletrap? I actually gave the Precious Wentletrap to a friend who joined me out there that day...I meant to thank her in the end of the video, but I was distracted by the crazy amount of mosquitoes 🦟😅 no matter! Awww thank you so much for saying so, Roberta! This was a long video with a rabid-fire series of shell finds; it was a lot of put together in this double-length episode. Thank you so, so much for watching it 🥰

Hey 👋🏼 Maddie! Adorable baby Balers 😃 You need tweezers for those micro shells 😆 My favorites today are the Short-spined Murex. Both of them, really nice condition and it still had its long spiny siphon! The Violet Nerites are beautiful because PURPLE 😍 The Biggenden Banned Snails 🐌 are super cool! 😎 Thanks for taking us to Hervey Bay Again! Stay Hydrated out there my friend! TTFN 👋🏼 ❤
@ShellingAdventures7 ай бұрын
G'day Mimi 👋🏻💖 The baby Balers are so cute!! I rather like them, even the ones that no longer have their markings 😲 Ahhhh haha, ah no, I do not want to collect more of those mini nano shells if I don't have to! I spent ages sifting out 1000s of them from sand and debris into a big little jar, I don't need to do it again 😂 So your favourite is actually the Short-spined Murex though; I'll admit, this species is absolutely lovely and deserves the attention it gets! Hehe, the Violet Nerites are wonderful for sure; I wish I stayed to find more, but I was very nearly shelling in the dark as it was! Oohhh I think you're one of the only people to mention those Biggenden Banded Snails 🐌 I love them too, they're so sweet and swirly 😉 Thank you so much for watching the big Hervey Bay trip, it's just a single adventure this time instead of a two parter. Yes, hydration is so, so important...my big 1.5 litre drink bottle really isn't enough for this big walk to the mangroves, I always run out before walking back 😭 but what can you do? Drink more back at that car, that's what! Anyhoo, thank you so much for watching the big adventure today 🥰

Yuhuuuuu Maddie,wht a nice day for shelling 🎉 I really love seeing the display of your shells at the end of video (I'm not sure if I have so much patience to do tht😅) Well, actually from the beginning of video, my fav is moonsnail, But the biggenden banded snail really really really caught my eyes 😅,so 1st biggenden Banded Snail 2nd the family moonsnail members ( i can't decide which moonsnail is the most fav😂) 3rd short spinned murex Thankkks for a really entertaining video for my tired brain, Maddie 🎉❤

G'day Nelly 👋🏻💖 It was a gorgeous day for shelling out there!! Ahhh, this shell display was actually pretty quick because I was racing against the setting sun 🌅 and the numerous mosquito bites 🦟 because I was very nearly eaten alive!! As for the shells, they were absolutely worth the big trip to the mangroves! The Biggenden Banded Snails will always be a favourite of mine too 🐌 just love them! Ohhh you know, it is hard to pick which species of moon snails is the favourite; they're all wonderful in their own ways. Murexes!!! The Short-spined Murexes are the final favourite 🤩 they were fabulous this time!! As always Nelly, thank you so much for watching the BIIIIG adventure this time 🥰 I, uhhh, was talking a bit too fast in this one, so it probably didnt help your tired brain 😅 but I'm really glad that you enjoyed the shell hunt anyway 😉🐚❤️
